'Don't hire TRASH..': Paresh Rawal takes dig at journalist

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has been very vocal about his political ideologies, which has also sparked heated exchanges between the actor and other social media users. This time around, the popular actor was seen taking a dig at journalist Arfa Khanum after her recent remarks on Preity Zinta.

Well, a few days ago, Preity slammed people on 'social media' who find it wrong to appreciate anything about the PM and hinduism. Retweeting this on her X handle, Arfa took a dig at Preity and wrote: Translation: Someone please sign Preity Zinta for a film. Why no roles for a “proud Hindu” & “PM praiser”? Guess the industry missed her “patriotism” and “loyalty.”

This tweet of the journalist garnered mixed reaction on the social media platform. One user, trolling Arfa, wrote how Preity can afford 'hundred maids' like her. Retweeting this on his X handle, Paresh Rawal stated that 'trash cannot be hired to clean trash.'

Now, taking a stand for Arfa, actress turned politcian Swara Bhasker, without naming Paresh Rawal writes, ''The kind of hate, vitriol & abuse @khanumarfa has to deal with online is shameful reminder of how bigotry & misogyny go hand in hand. Stand strong Arfa! You are amazing and more power to your voice.''
