It was just an obviously filler scene....just another excuse for Jhanak to repeat her usual "main kisi ka ghar parivaar todne waali ladki nahin hoon" dialogue . There is nothing in the story other than rinse/repeating how Anishi supposedly have a "ghar/sansaar" together and isliye Runak can't be together....lol

This time both Ani & Jhanak has to deal as Ani told J not to go & he ignored & cut the call on didi face

Nahi AY...she didn't mean she is doing this as Arshi is his wife...what she meant was she is releasing apne paap since she loved didi ke would be pati and bachhe ka baap who cheated her and slept with her didi...at least that is what I felt from drawing reference from Runak conversation in Ani's room when Jhanak told Ani that aap pe bharosa karne ki bharpai main apki pregnant biwi ki seva karke kar rahi hun..

I haven't watched the epis but didn't she say in another scene that Didi ki seva karna uski DUTY hai cuz woh Sirji ki wife hai?

Either way, point is that Jhanak is constantly jataaoing to Ani that her doing Didi ki seva is also his fault....as Ani rightly says in his monologues, he knows Jhanak is doing and saying all this to punish and insult him and get back at him for the supposed dhoka she feels he gave her.
