Tbh I have read about many actors and actresses who when play a certain type of character for a long time it actually disrupts their mentality. The character leaves such an influence on their personality that they don't come out of it in real life aswell. I don't know if that is the case with Shruti aswell but the way she is Justifying Vidya’s actions is litreally disturbingsmiley5

how can anypone defend that character???😂 darshak bewakoof hai kya???😂

But seriously, justifying a character like Vidya takes some next-level commitment. Like, ma’am, even the script isn’t backing you up—why are you working overtime for free?

She is in her own delulu worldsmiley36

What a disgusting post. Have some shame before accusing an actress of vile things. Any of us know if she's vile or whatever IRL? Kuch bhi bakwas

She's Patralekha it seems kisise engagement kar liya ya affair kar liya?

Everyone will support their characters. It's as per production house so tag them criticise shahi paneer and his team.

Some actress giving interview or not doesn't reflect on any one else. Everyone is different.

If you guys have time maybe check this forum? Too busy these days i guess.

Oh, absolutely! The way her character is written is already frustrating, but the real kicker is the actor doubling down on the whole Vidya is just misunderstood nonsense. Like, no ma’am, your character isn’t some self-sacrificing saint—she’s just Kaveri with better branding. At least Anita Ma'am owns her character's villainy, while Vidya gaslights everyone into thinking she’s suffering while actively ruining lives.

And the worst part? If she just admitted that Vidya is grey and messy, people might actually respect her portrayal more. But nope, we’re stuck with these cringe interviews where she’s practically campaigning for Vidya’s sainthood.

Vidya is the textbook definition of hypocrisy. She chose to stay in the marriage despite knowing the truth, yet spent her entire life sulking over it like she was tricked into it. If she was so deeply insecure about being Madhav’s second wife, why did she stay? She accepted him for his love, right? But instead of actually earning that love, she clung to her victim complex and treated Armaan like an outsider for something he had no control over.

And let’s talk about her selective morality. She knows Madhav’s first wife is alive but keeps quiet, hides the truth about Kaveri from Armaan, yet still has the audacity to call herself a good mother. Ma’am, where? When? In which alternate reality? A good mother doesn’t let her son grow up with a fractured identity while actively enabling his mistreatment. If anything, Vidya is just as manipulative as Kaveri—she just does it with sad looks and emotional blackmail instead of outright cruelty.

Oh, absolutely! It’s one thing to immerse yourself in a character, but it’s a whole other thing to become them. I get that playing a role for a long time can mess with an actor’s perspective, but Shruti defending Vidya like she’s some tragic heroine is next-level concerning. Like, ma’am, blink twice if you need help.

At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if she starts handing out badduas in real life too. Perhaps Shruti needs a therapist? (With all due respect to people battling mental disorders).

So let me get this straight—I totally get that actors spend hours embodying their characters, which makes them naturally attached. When you live and breathe a role every day, it stops being just a script—it feels personal. It’s understandable that they defend them to some extent. No issues there. But Shruti doesn’t just defend Vidya; she rewrites history like she’s the show’s secret scriptwriter.

Vidya never used Armaan as a shield? She always stood up for him when KP cursed him? She was a good mother to him? Where? When? Did we miss an episode? Because last I checked, Vidya was passive at best and complicit at worst. Even Anita Ma'am doesn’t shy away from accepting her character's flaws. At least she acknowledges that her character has done some messed-up things. Shruti, on the other hand, acts like Vidya is the Mother Teresa of the Poddar family.

I don’t get why she hesitates to acknowledge Vidya’s misdeeds. It’s not like owning up to a fictional character’s flaws is some personal attack. No one’s asking her to apologize on Vidya’s behalf—just to stop making up scenes that never happened. Defending a character is one thing, but rewriting entire narratives to make her look better? That’s next-level delusion.

And let’s be real, it’s not a bad thing to play a flawed character. In fact, it’s what makes roles interesting. The best actors don’t shy away from the ugly parts; they embrace them. That’s why Anita Ma'am comes across as self-aware and fun—she knows her character is a mess and rolls with it. Meanwhile, Shruti is out here doing PR for Vidya like she’s running for election.

It’s exhausting. No one hates Vidya just because she’s imperfect—we hate the gaslighting that comes with pretending she never did anything wrong. Own it, move on, and let us drag Vidya in peace.

She definitely is drunk or high on weed
