What if Shivani was actually a greedy woman and Dadi and Vidya took ghatiyamaan away from her because he is half Poddar and the reason why they never cared about him as much as Rohit was because he is half Shivani's

And then Shivani became mad but Dadi was keeping her locked up so that she wouldn't take ghatiyamaan or use him as a leverage or something.

I mean, just think about it, if Dadi and Vidya were so much villainy then wouldn't it have been a better option to just kill Shivani?

Why keep her locked up and feed her and keep her guarded, why spend so much money?
