Lol. No. England is an Overseas extension branch of Pakistan. Or England still treats Pakistan as a colony. But these two have a special relation in cricket and otherwise too. England always helps pak when in trouble. Like India does with SA/AFG/SL/WI. England and sky sports were the major backers and pushers of cricket coming back to pak. No one wanted it. But England did it. They made many documentaries too. Pak crowd loves England that's why.

There were rumours that Even in this CT aus and ind was in favour of whole event in UAE But England convinced other members to let it stay in pak and then ind picked hybrid model.
