I have three answers for this....

Firstly teju was already very much delulu and angst badhate toh galat hota.....aur Neil not taking any actions even drama when he gets to know about her wife's closeness with a guy will make him a total doormat.....

Secondly I agree about ITV's game of white and black and not playing grey....but still we can see the depth in story instead of narrated drama....matlab I don't know about you but I don't believe in better dialogues better character or toxic portrayal so toxic guy when he/she is having big reasons.... already before me there are few ladies here who mentioned double standards for ML and FL in the name of empowerment.....so you can still sense Neil ki side....

Thirdly it's not actually about reformation it's about going in depth as we just Neil as a person who felt attraction and going as per his helping nature.....but still how he is as a partner is still to explore abhi toh bas mulakat huyi hai puri kahani baaki hai.....

For example Neil was affected when he thought Teju is secretly talking with a guy....even Ritu was affected when Teju was admiring Neil so bhaiyon mein bahut kuch hone wala hai and there is much more to him we haven't seen his anger especially when it comes over his close family members.....

Thanks for the tag. I definitely agree with the spirit of your opinion. Unfortunately the execution of it these colours is often very toxic and hurtful to watch. The ML directs more often than not his anger/ego/insecurities towards the FL who is supposed to simply absorb it all, rather than both fighting and making up like a couple over such things. But if done well, I agree it is so much more interesting to watch because there is depth.

I know what you wanna say I have only experience of season 1 and not an ardent serial viewer but accept it ki they make ML aggressive wrt his emotions whereas FL still keeps control toh graph disturbs.....most of the viewers who weren't connecting to first ML of ghum were going with the above point and makers cashed on it....

ITV show doesn't work as per logic half of the time they sell their content so design things in a way....but if we want hum analyse karke alag alag sides ko dekh sakte hain....

So it's about what you cash on ig, movies are generally Ml centric in such frames even having affair is shown as funny whereas serials are FL centric and we know the double dhokli makers who even treat ML as sperm donor....makers don't create craft audience do.....

Virat you might not believe was liked by many even girls of my age group, they were showing pity till second marriage to him especially in Shruti but from surrogacy show changed....even my sister was never team Sai though she watched her end and watched the end only for Virat.....

Yes because logic se kaam nahi karte yeh log, isliye sab kuch bahut negative aur ganda bann jaata hai. Like Ghum S1 was torture to watch. I don't understand how people went on up to surrogacy etc. without taking a break from watching. It was SO negative, and ML ka behaviour that you are citing was also terrible to watch.

I like Dheeraj. I liked his performance as a shape-shifting eagle named Aakesh in Naagin 5 very much. In fact, girls knew about my liking towards that character, Aakesh on Naagin 5 forum. I used to talk a lot about Aakesh. But in this case, I think he's a little aged to play the role of Neil. His age is 40 now. Also, many people saw him with Shraddha Arya for many years. So, they wouldn't have accepted him with Vaibhavi. And I want to say one more thing. In Saubhagyabati Bhaba season 2, Dheeraj's performance wasn't up to the mark. In season 1, Karanvir Vohra's performance as Viraj Dobriyal was amazing! But Dheeraj's acting as an extremely dangerous and psycho husband wasn't great.

Ghum season one was intense....There was much more to it which PPl liked....it deserved to be on top....whether it was Sairat or GC days till end not from surrogacy....chalo whatever ....

ML ka behaviour I will just say agar ye serial na hota you would have seen his side being highlighted instead of hypocrite FL, it depends on platform Sai deserved much more tbh bach gayi...before second marriage toh I didn't even have problems.....

Don't get me wrong. When I say that ML behaviour is problematic of Ghum S1, it does not at all mean I am siding with the FLs. Sai was a selfish brat who had zero respect for people, even those who took her side and she just loved showing a finger to every one. PL was a human b**ch. WHich is why I am saying I don't get how people watched it all non-stop. I could only manage one episode a week and it was enough to catch up on everything that happened between repeat aangan drama and fb.

It's okay. For us (Naagin 5 viewers), shape-shifting eagles are normal. The hero, Sharad Malhotra was a shape-shifting eagle and the heroine, Surbhi Chandna was a shape-shifting serpent. But I can understand why it seems strange to you.
