In itv joint family means something else like in anupama I guess they wanted a maid. But anu have long ass bhasan when in joint families there are bhabhis+ 2-3 maids especially old times they used to have male cooks. Itv mein wife = slave and joint family means eating from same thali, all kinda abuse yet that's family where people don't have respect for each other. Bhad mein Jaye Aisa family nhi chahiye stay single die single better than these family members saving you then for years they will make you listen how big help they did for you lmao

In 2008 types I was in a arranged marriage situation and it turned abusive right in the first week , I realises he was a closet drug addict and chain smoker and drinker ..my father enquiry has come clean .. totally narcissist

I tried to explain , but he cried begged saying that I am very stubborn..he and his fam wanted a upma aunty types

many in my fam do believe that ..i have done many sat no to drugs campaigns, many learn self defence and what not ...I have always been bold ..my older bro was in Sharjah at that time ..I was forced to promise not to tell him ...i could ot get away since he has stolen my education documents, my personal documents all my cards but I was working

At one point I was thinking is life worth living, but i did not want anyone the pleasure of breaking my spirit... finally one day I was able to smuggle my education documents to my sis in law parents address and was waiting till salary comes ..but he tried to kill me for money..I got away with broken shoulder ..my friend got me a letter saying grandmother I'll all documents were stolen..my bff wrote to my older bro ..when i reached and was admitted..they said I may not pull off since my hemoglobin was 4 ...and inwas not responding..only once my older bro landed did I cry or respond ..until he was present I did not allow any medication

He shifted with me to Bangalore to a location no one knew ..I had proof so won easily within 6 hearing ( about 11 months) ...

After 3 years i reconnected with an old friend who despite the entire history wanted to marry me ..my bro encouraged the match and convinced everyone and I took that leap

Now I am married since a decade happily with a 7 year old kid

You are such a brave woman. Itv should take inspiration from those ppl who really suffer in marriage unlike how currently itv try to paint good man as red flag instead of showing the real world red flags.

Thanks dear , many in arjun and ipknnd forum are aware of my struggle and many gave me emo support..

The idea to share to let peep aware that anything can be handled u just need to believe that u can ..so that peep don't suffer seek help ..don't get emo blackmailed

I have shared in many survivors forums due to my medical recovery despite painful physiotherapy

Lol post marriage the attitude is like you stay get beaten die but you stay right there. Idk why girls are such burden on parents and others. If that's so much burden maybe kill during birth or leave hospital etc, why emotionally torture them all their lives and send them to die...and especially post marriage it's all girls fault..imagine the misogyny deep rooted in us a man beating us is also our fault.

Getting born as a woman in these third world country is nothing less than death sentence. No matter how modern the family is at a point of time parents makes you feel less, atleast that's what I have seen. Overnight their good parenting etc vanishes cause we don't have stamp of man 😂 or maybe we aren't getting good marks, or without job.

It's amazing life gave you a second chance,.God bless you and your husband your kid especially your brave brother. Not every man out there who is actually a Man. You always speak about your brother husband in such high regard. You are truly blessed with good men around you. ❤️👌

A case has happened in kerala. Parents and brother was ready to support the girl,but she was overconcerned about her father who was involved in the social activities of their area, and her brothers marriage. May be she had heard whispers that happened behind back. End result she took her own life. Parents and brother lost their daughter and sister. She was a bds final year student.

Govt supported them,but somr people use every single chance to demean the girl. Her brother was in merchant navy. A few months later the ship he was working was detained in an African country which later cleared as misunderstanding and the company had a settlement with the government. When the news first came out some YouTube news portal tried to show that man in fault and drag that dead girl.. This is our society....

I am.part of a group to report insta accounts who post abusive comments..it's so draining to see huge number of men commenting harrassing women that I am disgusted and has no desire to work against them

How easily they name women whre slt etc , any divorce case they think it's for alimony, anyone suicide it's women's fault. It's never their own genders fault lol. And conditioning girls to think about others above them starts from birth. When a girl puts on lipstick their own family calls her wanting attention. Talking to boys is still so no no your neighbour aunty uncle will start to spy gossip about you. Any rape case has to be fake even if the girl dies. Everyday I am in awe how disgusting other sex can be and how much oppressed we will be even 200 years in future.

In bharat matrimony etc they need to normalise checking insta accounts just to see how disgusting their comments are. This is digital era it needs to happen. I don't think any self respecting good woman would want their partners to comment Ran$i under random girls insta posts

There was a silent training going on everyday by the society. My mother cook for family at once, no special treatment for anyone. If my relatives by chance saw that ,they have no problem with me and my sisters, but when it came to my brother ,can't you reheat and give him.. once a relative was present when my brother cooked pasta for us, they were like can't you girls do that, why he needed to cook after having 3 sisters and you girls are waiting for him to cook instead of cooking. and so on..

It is same if anyone saw when I ask my son to clean the house, faltu mein lecture milega as if I don't have any qualifications of a mother.
