True... This whole track was emotional and dramatic and beautiful in a way but logically quite confusing.

Much earlier in the show Sumitra was ready to let her son before Rama's shield but now she can't bear her son giving up his life to save the kingdom which he swore to protect... I understand a mother's agony but... Doesn't add up... Still, it's quite novel that the mothers are still around (not complaining) and we get to see a new storyline and this additional scenes...

Urmila's character was portrayed beautifully and Basant nailed all the emotions today. The kids were good too.

My major problem with these tracks, be it Sita's exile, Sita's passing and Lakshmana leaving the earth, the decision was made for Rama. They kind of show that Rama was incapable of making these decisions by himself and others had to make himdo it. According to this show, Rama doesn't make the toughest decisions of his life. They were made for him and he accepts them after a going through all (and more) stages of grief. Rama was plain depressed today but the emotions were well portrayed by Sujay. My only problem is the illogical storyline.

I sincerely hope the other kids get proper farewells too.

If I am to guess, Sumitra might drown in grief due to Lakshman leaving and maybe all the mothers leave since they can't bear the sorrows any longer.

Hanuman being missing is kind of off... But I suppose he already said his farewells. In Valmiki Ramayan, he wasn't there when Lakshman left but with all the current portrayals, it would have been good if he was there...

I wonder how they would deal with Sita's sisters... Looking forward to seeing what the bring about...

But from the promo it seems like Bhagirath is going to make an appearance... First asuras and now Suryavanshi ancestors... They keep coming one after another...

I guess the makers are scared of current political scenario and want to show Ram did not tell Sita to leave Ayodhya and it was her decision. Even Lakshman's parityaag is the same. But ultimately they spoiled it by Ram asking Sita to give Agnipravesh by the Sasta blood guy. So what they started and how they achieved is questionable.

Exactly. Rama's speech was fine till he supported Sita and then out of the blue, he declares she will give a test. There's no end to this as long as people want to please others but current scenario is as such that it is unavoidable... Frustrating...

In yesterday's episode ,I liked Sumitra's dialogue and Ram 's agony scene.Sumitra maata was right when she says that they got everything - wealth,power,family ,but never happiness.
