The basis of Vidya even accepting Armaan was because she knew he was a package deal with Madhav. She didn’t do it out of the goodness of her heart or because she genuinely loved this child and wanted to give him motherly love. She just did it because he was the roadblock in her hopes of being Poddar bahu and she had to take him in. No wonder she treats him the way she does.
