Vidya basically reminds Abhira that how hurt she was when she had to hand over Daksh to Ruhi after a month, so how can she expect her to "give" Armaan to Shivani after all these years. This kinda shakes her up.

Someone needs to remind Vidya that Abhira genuinely loved Daksh and did not stop loving him even after she found out he was not her son. Despite being the victim, she had enough courage and will to do what’s right by reuniting him with his birth mother and continue to love him from afar, as an aunt. Vidya has only ever used Armaan per her convenience and now has the audacity to claim love for him and wants to separate him from his birth mother that he deserves to know about and spend time with. Who takes something like this away from the person they love?

See we do remember those sautela behavior bits, but clearly abhira armaan do not. Abhira literally says that kya tumhey lagta hai ma (vidya) kabhi tumhrey and rohit k beech choose kar pati, to which Armaan shakes his head.

There was literally a time Abhira begged Vidya to support Armaan when Rohit was in dhakka maaro spree, but she wouldn't. Post abhimaan wedding it took literally a birth of a whole human being for Vidya to acknowledge Armaan as her son again. But sure woh choose kar nahi patti
