But I have seen this trope before too - idk if you are familiar but in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, Rohit - he’s a heart surgeon marries Sonakshi who’s just giving her 12th because she couldn’t get an opportunity to study. Yeh alag baat hai ki she’s a famous actor ( in the show )

in real life - if you are a doctor, they marry a fellow doctor because their partner to understand their hectic work schedule; or someone’s who also earning well because generally their view points match better.

Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum mein to Rohit Sonakshi se pyaar karta tha. Aur Sonakshi kafi successful bhi thi. She's was a very popular tv actress. Lekin arranged marriage mein bohot kuch dekhte hai. Arranged marriage mein ek MD doctor ke liye aisi ladki lana jisne graduation complete nahi kiya, ye baat ajeeb laga mujhe. Matlab wo ladki graduation kar rahi hai abhi, shadi ke baad complete karegi.
