The second case.. Hero and his father were not willing to call the plumber, so she herself had to deal with it. She did too couple of times. And in the climax of film she served that dirty water to the guests as juice, poured the rest to the faces of hero and his father, then ran away from her husband's place😅

It's a regressive setup that she married into and atleast the original version didn't feel overdramatized because there could be families like that.. Setup is not where you get urbanclap or she can call a plumber herself.. It is where a mixer is there just as a show piece, because how could chutney made in mixer have same taste as one made with grinding stone..
