After Vik praises Mannat in kitchen... Punnu says she is here only because she managed to get a second chance from Mrs. Burman and Vik is returning the favour.

Mannat is disappointed and asks Vik if he indeed did the same.

Vik pep talks her and says don't even doubt on your capabilities... yes I gave you a chance... but also because you are talented. And don't ask such stupid questions to me again.

I said a lot of things to you that day... one of it was true... that you are very talented.. probably the best. So have faith.
