Yes, he's a family man. But Mahadev ka ek naam Bholenath (Lord of innocence) hai na. Aur Neil bohot bhola/innocent hai. So, shayad wo soch kar makers ne compare kiya.

I don’t think it’s a filler episode. Actually these are groundwork episodes for after marriage I believe.

He’s a mumma’s boy, and living up to an ideal son image. Basically like Armaan but not so worse.

Kehna parega writers nailed this time by creating a perfectly introvert character. Even Neil's crushes align perfectly with his introvert self.

Bhola to hai Neil. Vaise Bhagwan Shiv Parvati metaphor is used in most ITV shows now for the lead Jodis. Though Devi Parvati had to do penance for thousand years to achieve union with Mahadev and Mahadev was like not ready to get into Gruhastha jeevan. So that's why I said the metaphor is opposite for Neil-Teju jodi as here Neil would be doing everything for Teju.

They want people to “feel” connected to the characters idk why deliberately drag divine characters into a show filled with melodrama and toxicity.
