And he was the one who made the move to make the first move to cancel the divorce proceedings as we saw in the later BTS…even if not in this particular scene, there should have been a moment where she wondered to herself why he was so bothered …and if it meant he wanted to save their marriage too ?

I think it did. It did occur to her when she asked if he was jealous. But then when he switched to his "I hate pyaar" stance, her hopes dashed again, because somewhere she feels that despite the pyaar, Armaan will not want to keep the relationship like he said when he signed the DP.
