Family do influence them but yes I have to agree with you on this that they are braking apart just coz of their own foolishness . They don’t know how to balance relations and on priority scale which comes first . Child stealing was worst betrayal and both brothers are equally participated in it so both are culprit but he didn’t even tell her compete truth . Even he had told her entire truth that didnt change the fact but still he chose to hide it to protect his brother’s family keeping him above his own family (his wife ) .

Even now in divorce case also his family pressurized him but it was his decision to divorce his wife keeping his step mother unreasonable hatred at top priority and to make her happy he subjected his wife to brutality and still doing and Abhira madam has no self respect left after going through all those things .
