Sorry, that got posted before I could complete.

In some versions, the sisters passed long before Lakshman was banished. In some versions Urmila just falls lifeless when she hears about the banishment. In some versions she lives on to take care of her and Sita's kids. In some versions all 3 sisters follow Ram into Sarayu. I haven't heard of Nidhra Samadi but I did read somewhere that they passed away in their sleep before Yama/Kaal vistied Rama leading to Lakshman being banished.

I agree. For me, Lanka kand ends when Ram leaves Lanka and his return and coronation and life after could have been explained more.

i think they need a few pages for the depiction

There are descriptions but one has to fish them out and they're not as many/much as Rama-Sita or the places.

You're not disturbing at all. I love discussing epics and am myself a huge admirer of Indian legends. I just happen to have time to answer today. I'll be gone in a while and will return in a few hours. Was going to type it in a new message when I saw yours and replied to it.

Yes, later versions and folk tales may describe them but the older versions are all silent.

Costumes being bright elevates the mood. I understand NDTV Ramayan, the colours were fine.

BRC at times was quite gaudy and flashy but it wasn't way off or displeasing.

Some productions end up stereotyping costumes... Like BRC Mahabharat, everyone was with armour all the time except for very few scenes and the same trend followed in other BRC productions too.

In Shrimad Ramayan Rama and Lakshmana are glued to their bows. At times I would be silently pleading for them to keep those bows somewhere...

Also, Rama and Lakshmana took their divine bows, weapons and armour with them to exile. They wore armour in all the wars and fights. They weren't restricted to using bows and arrows. Rama and Lakshmana excelled in all types of warcrafts. Valmiki Ramayan mentions Rama being adept at riding horses, chariots and elephants and being skilled with bow and spear and every other weapon. All brothers were excellent but Rama was the best of them all.

Sorry for jumping in. This was one aspect I loved in SKR. They showed Ram being trained in all warfare, he’s not only a skilled bowman, but can fight with his sheer hands, ride horses when expertise. He was also an excellent swordsman.
That bit detail was fascinating.

Arjun is like Shri Ram - ( absolutely not comparing characteristics) . He was also known to be skilled in various art forms / weapons / animal riding. They are trained in multiple weaponry other than archery.
