I get people expect him to up & fight at everypoint. But I hope people realise that he is still the guy who feels guilty that he is the reason that Abhira & Vidya are dukhi, since he chose to marry ABhira.

Till he realises that he made no mistake & that he is also allowed to be happy with choosing Abhira over his family (which I hope SHivani will make him understand), he will never be able to overcome this dilemma of having to choose between Vidya & ABhira

His disagreements with Abhira regarding Vidya's court trial was understandable but his actions after that specially accepting his mother's demand to humiliate Abhira and cancel her licence (knowing whatever she did could be morally wrong as per him but was legally correct) killed his core character trait.

I know it's ITV and Abhira will soon get back to him only but accepting back a husband who in order to protect his family and Mom can any time either say lie to you or backstab you is very tough, no matter how much he loves her or cry for her alone at his room
