This is 100% true! Although, they did show scenes with Armaan 1.0 where he feels Vidya loves him but always with a difference especially when it came to Rohit, no?

Also I think wanting to be perennially accepted by everyone as their favourite and first choice has been Vidya's core character.. she took offense to even KP in one instance, right? And of course Madhav!

Vidya's difference in treatment of Rohit and Armaan has been questioned in the show from beginning though Vi herself refuses to accept it.. When Ar 1.0 brought Ab home and Vi cut all ties, chachi had questioned her whether she would have done the same if it was Rohit and concluded she would have not.... In arguments she had with Madhav, she has always brought up that she had to accept Ar.. I know good majority will not be able to accept husbands son from another woman which is fine, but then should not believe herself and try to portray that she doesn't differentiate when she has always..

Vidya is a horrible woman, period. In Ishqbaaaz, when Pinky, Shivaay's mother, was evil and conspiring to separate him and Annika, he stopped talking to her properly and only addressed her as Mrs Oberoi. (They made up eventually.) So, it's not unheard of in ITV to have a son cut his mother out of his life. I know that the scenarios are different and in YRKKH land everyone does hum saath saath hai, but Vidya is a complete witch. And now that Armaan's biological mother has returned, he'll know a mother's unconditional love feels like. Even if it's temporary, call that vile woman out. It's the bare minimum.
