ik it's stupid a logic from Armaan's side but his issue lies with sending his mother to jail even for 5 days. Kyunki maa ko trauma hua,patthar pade etc etc. And Vidya ka bhi dil nahi melt hua yeh jaanke Abhira ne uski bail karayi. Infact aur nautanki karne lagi to manipulate Armaan. And Armaan's reason to do that to Abhira was so that she can completely move on from him more than revenge. He chose his aasmaan mother over abhira and then did the license cancellation drama to kill all her hopes.
