Honest feedback is always valuable but that has been given at this point. It has been hammered in continuously. If shows, most notably KDH, week after week keep saying the same things over and over, it starts to come off as them trying to encash more on views than provide constructive criticism. It’s extreme and even if any valuable feedback is provided, it can get lost. When a movie is reviewed, it is done once and then you move on. For a show, if you aren’t enjoying it at all and you have given a good share of feedback in the first few episodes, what are they trying to achieve by continuing? It can’t just be about trying to provide constructive criticism because that’s been done. It starts to feel less honest and that can get in the way of figuring out what is valuable feedback and what isn’t.

But I think I predicted this long time back..that Sadaf was supposed to make mistakes in her life and than realize the meaning of true love..right now she is just trying to make a loveless marriage work which lot of women does...and there are many women who doesn't have an idea of love but try to make a loveless marriage work..I dont feel that's unrealistic.

But again, the entire problem lies in the execution more than anything.

I just hope the show ends well at least...all these things could be forgiven and forgotten if they end well(but looking at the team, expectations are very low)

Pura drama FL ke pov se hai. Ab Maya ko isse zyada kya screenspace mile. It's just a poorly written, poorly executed and poorly performed perspective, which is different. Bilal Abdullah is sanctified and elevated as a farishta, but he is a one-dimensional character with no other facet besides Sadaf ka pyaar. Again, KRQ knows how to write MLs, but Bilal is NOT written as an ML in an ML-centric KRQ drama. Danish in MPTH was a farishta too, but he was three-dimensional and was the POV character. Instead, Bilal is written exactly as how KRQ writes parallel male leads in a (FL-centric) KRQ drama. Just because it is Wahaj and the marketing tells you he is THE lead, but the writing does not support that claim.

The criticism of Sadaf putting up with so much for so long is that it does not fit the character. Someone like her may have forgiven Ammar the first time and given him the ultimatum then (that time when Sadaf slaps Ammar). That would have made sense. But they keep piling it on (cheating, verbal and physical abuse, gaslighting), while Ammar shows no fake remorse nor tries to cry or love-bomb Sadaf to give him chance after chance (in fact, he doubles down, blaming her character for assassinating her). Even Amma on GL doesn't get it (and she is not some hater).

What I want is Bilal to go out of the country , Sadaf to get therapy and become financially independent & Humsha needs to marry her fiancé.

There is a fact: with this event, a turning point occurred in the story. When Bilal's marriage proposal was rejected, his heart wasn’t broken. However, when he went to talk to Amaar, and Sadaf used Zaviar to prevent their conversation, that’s what truly hurt Bilal. In Sadaf’s eyes, he wasn’t even considered worthy of acknowledgment. This is why he started drinking.

Sadaf doesn’t yet realize the impact of what she’s done, but I believe Bilal will continue drinking for a while. He will eventually give Sadaf her job back. After Zaviar returns from the U.S. with her, Bilal will decide to leave the country. Once Sadaf learns about the situation, she will go after him.

It could also be that he thought that she didn't trust him and she might mave thought he will break their marriage but the truth Sadaf was right to not let the man Ammar thinks she is having an affair with, scold him.It will again highlight his meharbanis on her,and the fact that Sadaf told him about their marital problems.

Whatever I understood is...KRQ doesn't write simple love stories...he likes to write complex stories..but I wished they didn't mess up to this extent

There are shows get praised a lot week after a week. What value is same praise adding week after week. Why do those makers not think that praise is fake.

If fake roasting is all it took, why do reviewers not roast every show or even 60% of shows, The fact there is a huge market for roasting of your show, and that there are barely any positive reviews from any reviewers big or small, means there is valid discontent and the roasting is resonating with people.

Actors, producers, directors get paid big bucks. No one owes them a positive review for doing shit work, and if the shit quotient goes up week after week, bad reviews will go up too. JN and TB used to get roasted a lot every week. No one ever thought that feedback was fake. When high profile HW series do bad episode after episode, it's not like people stop reviewing. Asoka and LOTR got reviewed week after week till the end despite being huge disappointments. People still haven't shut up about GOT last season and it's been 5+ years.

If actors and makers fail to glean feedback just because it is not wrapped up ina nice toffee paper then they deserve to fail.

Not sure how they are gonna wrap up this. Dekhte hain how intelligently they come up with something to make BA & Sadaf come together!

@bold- I have ZERO expectations tbh at this point..because of complete bad execution. But the way Sadaf-Bilal dynamics shaped up in the last week episodes,it was actually good to see..

They have potential tbh,but the execution and slow pace has diluted the impact unfortunately

I dunno. Too many chamchas and asslickers around actors that cocoon them from criticism or maybe actors don't care themselves. Clearly, Wahaj didn't get Mein's feedback or didn't care about it. Otherwise, he would never have chosen SMD. So, I don't know if he will get SMD's feedback or act on it. I hope someone tells him he is squandering social capital like this. Zahid used to be so big a few years ago but now no one even gets excited by his projects anymore because of back-to-back bad choices he made. Even Salman and Akshay with 25+ years of big hits have seen social capital decline by giving few back-tp-back bad projects. Tiger 3 didn't even get the buzz and excitement it should have because people were burnt by the likes of crap like Race 3, Radhe, KKBKKJ,

Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar are old, it’s understandable for their careers to be on the decline. They will always be superstars…especially Salman Khan (all the khans). They have made their mark. People wrote off SRK and he came back. These things are not that simple for anyone but we can’t compare Wahaj to them…they’ve been doing this a lot longer and have earned their dues. They’re in a separate league altogether. Even if they fail now, they will always be superstars.

Zahid might have been big (honestly I don’t know) but I can say as someone living overseas that I had never heard of him because I didn’t watch dramas regularly. Wahaj became known with a group that never really watched dramas before. For me, the only other male PTV actor I’ve seen to get this recognition was Fawad Khan. I mean these are actors that became known faces to those who didn’t watch dramas. They bring in a new audience. Obviously Wahaj Ali has a long way to go before he is Fawad Khan who found further fame and recognition by entering Bollywood. Fawad’s Barzakh was criticized and didn’t exactly get a lot of hits but I don’t believe it really hurt him. Of course Fawad is a bigger name but similarly I think it will take more than this for Wahaj to disappear into oblivion. It may hurt his brand but bouncing back won’t be as challenging as it would be for someone like Zahid that didn’t acquire the same type of fan following and international recognition.

Never too heard about zahid until mere ban jao came back in early 2023 i always thought he's an unknown actor because zindagi channel didn't aired his dramas
