It has to be related to Bilal and Sadaf. Hamsha won’t get married to Faraz cos it would be the same as Sadaf marrying Ammar. She doesn’t love Faraz . I see both her and Ammar ending up alone at the end.

this type of philosophical story about love needed a different type of execution and treatment. haseeb really cheapened it i feel by making it sensationalistic, so ott and melodramatic. a more restrained and contemporary treatment, a contemplative tone, with more focus on the emotions in the scenes and characters, instead of flimsy nighties, cringe intimacies, filler ba scenes, eyelocks, alcohol would have really served the story better. not saying script is good (script is not same as story), but the execution made it 10 times worse. it's like piling shit on top of shit on top of shit, instead of trying to neutralize the shit you already had. at the end of the day, even makers were not interested in telling the story they had. i think a big lesson from smd is how importance sincerity to story telling is. you have to tell the story you have in the best way possible. wishing it was something else and twisting it to be something it is not just damages your product esp. if you do not have the leeway to not do substantive changes.

humsha will marry faraz. for her it will be settling down initially as she realizes she cannot have bilal, and while she may not love faraz, he loves her. she will have empathy for faraz's pain of one-sided love, so this time, she will say yes to him. after her marriage to faraz, she will be able to find happiness and contentment with faraz and will also have realized how toxic her love for bilal made her and how many lives she destroyed. she will then come to sadaf to come clean and confess how she lied before. that's when humsha will say this line.

Okay let’s wait and see. I still stick to Hamsha not marrying Faraz. This line would be said by Sadaf . She would realise that her decision that time was wrong and a loveless marriage with Bilal would have better than the ‘love’ marriage with Ammar.
