This is just like KRQ's Mann Jali, where Faris is the pure selfless lover who loves Mehwish. But Mehwish marries Mikaal because of manipulations by Mikaal and Mehwish's friend. She tries to make her marriage work and be a good wife but Mikaal was insecure about Faris and gave her taanas, was a drunkard and had marasim with multiple women after shaadi. She eventually divorces in 2nd last episode and the ending is Mehwish getting together with Faris who still loved her.

Just searched this drama on google - lol it seems too much like what’s happening in SMD

Except for some changes here and there - it seems the same ; I read this review here which basically tells the same

The creators greed totally killed their own show.SMD was slowly picking up steam and should’ve really taken off after the wedding episode but instead it all went downhill.The episodes after the wedding right up until last week were a mess----bad acting,sloppy execution and characters that no one could really care about.People have already moved on to other shows and rightfully so! if she wanted to give him a chance they should have had this scene right after she finds out about him seeing dania behind his back (after she slapped him that first time). once ammar slapped her, accused her of being do takay ki aurat and a cheater, showed no remorse and regret about his behaviour, ek aur chance dena while giving up your job and self respect is too much to digest. they should not have had that sadaf ammar fight and slap,

Agreed. Giving a chance after so much abuse doesn’t seem right. Especially when he’s been a looser all along :|

Maybe Humsha comes clean to Sadaf. Sadaf starts thinking about Bilal and what he has done. She feels sorry for having wronged him. She wants to apologize to Bilal and calls him in Dubai. Maube she also has an aha moment here that she loves him.

All I have understood about KRQ's writing is that...he has a very strong hold on poetic dialogues..but he really needs to work hard on creating better characters and needs to work on screenplay...

The writer's perspective on marriage is close to the truth and accurate. In all monotheistic religions and different beliefs and cultures, marriage is considered sacred. Sadaf's view on marriage is not about love; she evaluates it based on the perspective of the family and society she is in. Sadaf was not in love with Amaar, and she is not in love with him now. Even if someone marries someone they are not in love with, they tend to love their partner just because they are their spouse, forcing themselves to feel in love. In the early stages of her marriage, Sadaf forced herself to fall in love. She doesn't yet fully understand the difference between loving someone and being in love. She has just started to realize the meaning of love.

There were two reasons behind Sadaf marrying Amaar. The first was to use Amaar as a shield to escape from Bilal. The second was that she believed Amaar was in love with her. Now, both of these reasons have disappeared. She has now started to understand what love really means. With the final warning to Amaar, Sadaf is giving him one last chance. If Amaar meets with Dania again, it will mark the end of their marriage. This is certain. The end of their marriage is not due to Amaar's insecurity but because Sadaf does not believe in his love. As Bilal said, "If there is no trust, why would love exist?"
