LOL actually Imlie experience was different than Rishta experience....I never cared for the Rishta jodi in real time.....it was actually HC's portrayal of Abhimanyu's angst as a father that pulled me in to watching the show ....I saw one father-son scene in passing and their natural chemistry hooked me....lol uske baad I went back and caught up on the story to get context. Imlie mein they did gaslighting of just Adilie the jodi.....Rishta mein they did gaslighting of Abhimanyu the FATHER.....and that was actually more raw and painful in a way to watch also cuz HC was phenomenal in portraying that angst.

ITV mein waise hi bahut saalon se pyar ki koi izzat nahin hai....overnight so called soulmates become incompatible as per business needs to justify new MLs.....but Rishta experience taught me that ITV itna gir chuka hai ki ek father ke emotions ko bhi is level tak gaslight kar sakta hai. Abhimanyu never knew about the existence of his child....that one of his twins had survived after Akshara left him....but in the story he was painted as an eternal villain with people twisting the narrative to claim he divorced his pregnant wife (she thought she had miscarried both her kids by then)....Abhimanyu had lost his brother that day too toh he lashed out in grief to break ties with Akshara.....but story was twisted to portray as if he abandoned his own child and AA was the one who was a TRUE father to the child because he was there with the FL during her pregnancy and first person to hold the kid in his arms.....Akshara only tried calling Abhimanyu one time to inform him and he was in a panic over his mom in the hospital toh baat nahin hui dhang se....madam ne ego pe le liya and deemed him unworthy father who couldn't bother listening to her ONE phonecall toh he was cancelled for life ......this is the premise on which they built the entire AA plot....that he was greatest father in the world for paaloing someone else's kid as his own.....bhai usko readymade wife and baccha mil gaya, why will he complain? .....Kisi aur ki zindagi chheen ke apna mahal khadaa kar liya....lol

They showed a soul connection between Abhi and his son when they finally met....and once Abhi found out, how he has to BEG for time with his son....the way Akshara treated him was beyond disgusting....and ultimately in order to prop up the AA, they made the son AWKWARD about calling his birth father Papa cuz he'd already been calling the other guy Papa for five years.......so yeah I've seen all kinds of gaslighting on ITV now ....this is so called "realistic" ITV of today....lol

Anyways, whatever I've read so far of this Vihaan and his family setup.....lol yahaan AA banne ke liye koi itna bada kaam kiya nahin Vihaan ne filhaal....ehsaan toh Jhanak uspe kar rahi hai uska baccha paal ke .....if this story was in Shahi saab ke hands then yeah they could hail Vihaan as devta....but since yeh Leena ki story hai, this will inevitably devolve into a setup of Jhanak dealing with new sautan Avni once she returns ....and this so called positive family will bash Jhanak for giving them dhoka

Also I read that it only took ONE convo to convince Jhanak to play a random guy's wife ......AK ne bhi faltu mein ise real proposal dekar iski BEIZZATI kar di....aise FAKE wife banke live-in karne ko kehta toh madam jhat se maan jaati

LOL more than any money issue, feels more like they want to show a gaaon ka setup to generate drama through orthodox family ke rules/regulations.....if they can't generate drama through treating Jhanak like a maid as has happened in all other "udaans" of hers, then they will try more traditional saas-bahu drama I guess

Bose fam was "liberal" with their bina shaadi ke live-in policy.....toh yeh Parekh family will be shown extra traditional I guess

No matter how much they try, the show cannot survive in the long run without Runak...format iska family drama ka hai hi nahi! It was always Runak craze that kept audience hooked...Leena is just deceiving the fans again with this new family...2/3 weeks me wapis ajayegi apne gandiwali plot leke firse..the only thing that could save this show at this point was Arshi getting punished for her misdeeds..

@bold: But Saibal Uncle did call this a family drama/family story in some IV.....clearly makers are not viewing it as a love story.....Runak are just a point of conflict for the story....otherwise makers seem to feel this story is about how many different ways Jhanak can become a third angle in the lives of various men .....while Ani keeps crying over pyar v/s zimmedaari

I read that the new fella’s wife died in flight accident toh why will she come back? 😂😂😂 flight main toh casualties confirmed hote hain but yahan madam flight ke ruins se wapas aayengi 😂😂😂

@bold: No, I read that Vihaan said the wife's death is not confirmed....her name wasn't in the list of dead bodies found....she's still listed as missing

And he apparently repeated a couple of times that he is madly in love with his life and can't move on from her .....this was apparently also said to Jhanak as part of the assurance that she can take his wife's place to get entry into his house but otherwise he is still devoted to his dead/missing wife only

Woh to didi se r*pe karwake channelwalon ne isse classic triangle love story bhi bola hai...usse kya ye sache badlegi k Ani is being violated!

Leena will not serve a family drama here...she will go back to her usual filth once trp increases..

LOL why are you saying this to me as if I'm doubting that this Vihaan will also fall in love with Jhanak? .....Aisa koi aadmi paida nahin hua in Jhanak-verse jo INSTANTLY Jhanak ka aashiq na bane.....toh yeh Vihaan bhi definitely add hoga list mein even if he's currently repeating like a robot that Avni mera pyar thi, main uske ilava kisi aur ke baare mein soch nahin sakta

How casually and easily this guy and his friend asked Jhanak to pose as his wife with the excuse ki my orthodox family won't let you stay there otherwise .....that friend even added ki bas ACTING karni hogi....LOL little does he know the level of acting Jhanak Rani is capable of as we all have already seen......Jhoot ki Maharani doing faltu ka natak as if ise jhoot bolne se problem hai

Since they didn't take a leap, they can't show this kid as being Jhanak ka baccha .....Ani has seen her walk out from his house just a few days back.....toh 2 maheene ka baccha kahaan se tapak padaa? lol quite possible this Vihaan may tell him the truth about how he met Jhanak and why she's now in his house raising his kid...but Runak will still find a way to MU and insult each other over this Vihaan and ofcourse Jhanak ka manufactured victimhood after herself handing off Ani to Didi
