Exactly, every drama has plot holes, bad editing, issues with direction, etc., SMD attracts a lot of criticism because one - too many people are critical/ over critical of Maya Ali, ( not saying she’s giving exemplary performances but if we have to point fingers then it can be pointed at so many actors ) two, if the leads were given time, then it probably wouldn’t have been scrutinised so much, but the focus is on the supporting character which frankly ruins any show.
But true, I agree. The roasting is getting too much now. People just like to join the bandwagon because it’s cool.

ammar finds out sadaf accepted the offer and leaves the house - i.e, he moves out and goes to dania. Sadaf is crying because ammar left her.

Zaid is literally Wahaj's worst performance. I think his performance as BA is better than Zaid. But that's a low bar to cross. But is BA better than Rumi, Murtasim, Junaid, Saad, Basim? At this stage, we should be comparing what Wahaj does with his previous best, not his previous worst.

I agree. Murtasim was abusive for god’s sake. That’s the lowest any character can get. At least Bilal is a decent guy who’s a foolishly in love but he’s not a bad guy. Zain ping ponged between two wives. A comparison between Saad and Bilal might be like comparing two similar characters. Junaid, I didn’t watch 22 qadam, so have no idea.

There’s this concept of hate watching smiley36 some people watch just for the sole purpose of pointing out how much the show, acting, direction sucks smiley37 I don’t know why people put themselves through torture to prove the show is bad - lol you don’t have to paint a picture, we are well aware. smiley39

I have stopped taking all the youtubers and critics seriously....because may be the drama is boring but there is a time for everything..

Its not the right time to give verdict because the show is not yet over..bilal sadaf scenes have just started..

I was talking performance not character. i don't care kon cktr regressive tha kon nahi. kon positive tha kon nahi. kon toxic tha kon nahi. i'm more interested in which performance was better; which cktr was better written, had a proper arc and made sense in the context of the worldbuilding and the story; which cktr had more margin to perform, had more dimensions and depth, and whether it drove action in the story. murtasim sure was toxic but wahaj aced that performance. even tb and murtasim haters won't deny it. next time if wahaj does a toxic or negative role, i will judge it based on performance and how it's written and developed. good pure cktrs mean nothing to me as a viewer if the performance, character development and cktr arc doesn't connect.
