R a they cannot show Guddi crap ditto! They will play around with different tracks and plots from Guddi, JN and some new stuffs...that's it...I have no expectations left for them to show anything exciting or positive for Runak...but yes Guddi will not be copy pasted directly..

Really probably for the last time I will try to clarify to you my perspective on how I read the story and I will try not to go into hypotheses on this…I don’t search for what I will do in a character’s place rather my interest is to see whether I understand/appreciate what the character did in its place..In that we typically differ in how we read the tale. I am all for seeing vulnerability and weaknesss in people which is why both Ani and J are relatable. I would have said Arshi too but her character remains muddled from the start to now in how they wished to situate her so I don’t relate to her at all.Ofc much of what I write now makes little sense given the nonsense Leena has been dishing out.

For me this story hasn’t been about Ani making his mind about the two loves of his life…and in this we differ in how we see the tale. The story narrated to me by miles is about his growing conviction in his love for Jhanak…That he hasn’t been successful in reaching that destination is a different thing but there were stages in this love journey…starting from empathy, admiration, kinship, responsibility, attraction, jealousy, acceptance, passion, self doubt, recklessness, resignation, anger, revulsion, deep conviction, complete surrender, desolation, hope, determination and sacrifice. Whether everyone in love and every love tale goes through the entire gamut of emotions I described above I don’t know but Ani’s did go through it.

On whether Ani had to resort to lies to get an adult home is a premise a viewer buys into based on the circumstances and just dealing for once in hypothesis, after what they went through in Kashmir, it is possible for me to conclude the trajectory of the tale could have been different in that they would have been married and had kids by now 😂😂 if J was not housed in BH but elsewhere cos Ani would have still looked out for J and they may have had a more understanding between them without the interference from others in the tale 😂😂😂 Obviously, in a real life situation… the need to marry itself wouldn’t have arisen so many other things may not have happened.But having said that, let me just say, I found this tale of him looking out for J believable and journey organic cos Ani wasn’t loooking to attach any particular association to her beyond her safety and making sure she had the wherewithal to take on life’s challenges after having been left in the lurch by circumstances. The incidences to a very great extent almost until the Avinash track broadly indicate his desire to get her the big chance in life..ofc Yes the tale is interspersed with his latent desires and his growing attraction for J and his involvement gradually indicate a man falling more and more in love with the one he only intended to protect. The ad shoot was in some measure the zenith and the nadir of Ani’s confrontation with his heart’s desire; it triggers the jealousy and its ugly aftermath that he feels seeing her with another man who could be seeking her affection and also subsequently his quiet surrender that she has some power over him that he can no longer deny.
Their last days in BH were about him making peace that his feelings aren’t reciprocated but also being greedy about every little moment he can have with her… It’s true until then he hasn’t dealt with what all this means for his relationship with Arshi as he hasn’t dealt with the reality of a relationship with Jhanak at all… All that complication comes later. So very in keeping with an Ani who chooses his battles to fight, the greys never bothered me cos this story only ever showed the Arshi Ani non relationship unravel….never blossom….

For me Ani’s core characteristics aren’t at all about being confused about whom he loves, his core character is about wanting to do the right thing even at personal detriment, I would also say not having the courage to fight if Jhanak is not there in the horizon in some form. He has always shown the will to fight if it involves Jhanak’s wellbeing in some form.

Rekha - yaar - why do you always assume that I think Ani is confused regarding who he loves? Whenever you counter my post, you go back to the same topic. I have never believed Ani loved Arshi ever. Nor do I think he is confused about whom he loves. See my responses to you before.

Your assessment of my perception is incorrect.

I have said this many times - I am of the opinion that Ani fell in love with J -the first time he saw her dance. But he intentionally refuses to explore his feelings almost like if he does he will have to acknowledge his love. Otherwise so many signs - his irritability and emotional see saws when it came to Rahul in her life, his obsessiveness with J to the extent if deceiving Arshi easily with zero remorse everytime. The way he lied to everyone to keep her with him. Remember the scene where his inner self questions him on why he wont let J do, he still does not explore his feelings.

I've said this again and again. This story is not abt Ani not being sure. This is abt Ani wanting to have both his love and his zimmedhari. He cannot let either go. He put sindoor easily on J second time in BH. He told her people loved her in BH. On Avinash shaadi day he was singing about love failure. He intentionally suppressed thinking abt his feelings for her because deep down he knew he loved her. A large part of him keeping his feelings repressed was Rahul. Arshi he always was doing performance with - to keep J safe - nothing else ever. Every single time he hugged Arshi he thought of J.

Kashmir is when he realized she did not love Rahul. Thats what gave him reason to hope and when she turned him down, he wanted to hurt her as badly as he was hurting and in his stupidity tied himself to Arshi. At that point he loved J, but he did not realize living with Arshi would be unbearable. Then Adi was intolerable for him - so he did all the pda with Arshi while wondering why J did not see him. He loved J then too, but had a commitment he could not get off, but still wanted J to get rid of Adi. J preg track because of his intense jealously he bought into Arshi Shristi theory that J was out to foist Adi's baby on him and lost it. Still even with Adi baby he was in love with her thats why it hurt him big time.

He never would have wanted to leave Arshi who he considers his responsibility, but he still wanted J to take care off. Thats whta he promised Brij, to take care of J not marry her. Per the story marriage came into play only when he thought J's life was under threat. Even that does not make any logical sense because of how he is now prioritizing his baby with Arshi and his marriage with her over J's life.

The whole story is Ani making wrong choices because - first he made the wrong choice and second - he wants to perform his zimmedhari and also have his love to take care of.

Lines like - I love J are all valid when he says it in Bh, but he never said I want to marry you till the death threat. When he was going to marry her to protect her - the I want to make love to you - comment etc brought out his inner longing that he would have never otherwise acted on.

True - he wants J and will do it in a jiffy if Arshi by herself walks out, but he did not want to push her on his own ever.

So many times I have explained my thinking and still you think I think Ani is confused or undecided between who he wants - what yaar? Its almost the opposite.

Maybe this is why we both go at it again and again.

Your bold is not correct. J's well being was not in being insulted and sent home when she claimed to have his baby. At the very least he could have ensured she was in good health and taken her to the drs. instead of insulting her as sending her back like he did.

Also post aag and even now - he places his zimmedhari over J even when his soul wants to go to J, he will not. Again this is where Ani again is not fully consistent. Pre realization Arshi was zimmedhari - he fulfilled his zimmedhari to J. Post aag he did not go after J. Pregnancy he did. When J had surgery he went back. Brij case he went back to J inspite of insults, not to get her as wife, but to support her. Now when her life is in danger will he go?

Ani is someone who often makes zimmedhari his priority, thats why I always say many many times - till Arshi herself absolves him of his zimmedhari for her, Ani will never on his own dump her. (he supposedly did it to save J's life but even that he did not follow thru when baby zimmedhari outweighed his payaar for J again.

They will repeatedly give Ani dialogues that Arshi is his zimmedari and J is his pyar and keep him tied with Arshi for the sake of so called zimmedari after 400 episodes and we will be equally interested to stick around as we were in initial episodes!! Exactly I was irritated with those dialogues..
