Virat seems mysterious from the beginning. I watched a few older episodes this week. After the mela wedding, within seven days, his hatred for Amu completely vanished. He never tried to find evidence of what happened that day at the mela.

After Pri's entry, when Amu decided to leave him, his behavior really confused me. He believed she tried to kill his mom that same day, yet at night, he asked her not to leave him. When she did, he blamed her in his monologue: "You broke my trust, banker. I thought you would support me no matter what, blah blah..."

I think Amu was in love with him from the time of the fake wedding rituals..so deeply, in fact. She was really disappointed when Virat saved X, leaving Amu in the pool. She even mentioned this when they parted ways after Pri's entry, saying, "You didn’t choose me, right?"

It was supposed to be a hate marriage, so how could she expect him to save her? How could they expect anything from each other? This is clearly the writers fault from the beginning. From Jayesh to every character (other than the less important ones), their behavior is really confusing and illogical.

For instance, why does Ishika hate Amu so much? She already got what she wanted, right? It’s useless to try to understand any of these characters.

Virat can be dangerous, no matter what he says or does. I don’t trust him.but Amu’s love for him will never change..

I like your points!

Virat's problem was his blind trust in his Mom otherwise, he would've never done what he did to Ammu (at least not the Mela). That's why even he forced Ammu to do that Tarazu shit, he felt responsible for her no matter what. This is because (pre-Lohri) he was attracted to her more than she was and developed something for her (first) but it got ruined because of Maha Sakranti MU and the rest you guys know...

When Pri entered the story, Virat was taken aback and all he could do was hold on to Ammu (as he said in the beginning my Knight is a shining Saree ya aisa kuch). However, he was clumsy with that pool thing (one of my favorites by the way because of the scene you mentioned, Ammu's disappointment). We don't know how it feels to see your ex that you loved appear in front of you while you "moved on" in life. So saving Ammu was his priority but (with a step back) I'm neutral on this.

That was the phase Ammu started to think about Virat differently, more than the fake wedding when she had doubts because it was fake (but I agree with you wahan dreaming shuru hua ta, what if this was true). It hurt her that Virat didn't choose her. (This is my pov)

In conclusion, both were attracted to one another...But unfortunately, the friendship phase was neglected and we didn't get to see it much.

Rahin baat hate-marriage, well, was it? If so, more intense hona ta, but we didn't get Ammu's part smiley7How did she accept such a thing??? Has she lost her mind in that tarazu going round and round?

I never understood why Ishika had a problem with Ammu and Harsh. It's their choice if they want to stay with their Mom. Who is she to be mad at them? Unke kya galti ti? It's not that they made her love life with Jayesh a nightmare, they just hardly moved further with aapke life Mubarak ho. Further, she got slapped and all but in the first place there was nothing to hate Ammu. Compared to her, BA had a reason (illogical though because of the party on the Yacht and loud music) to (somehow) hate her as she almost ruined her plan and further by trying to stop Nimmi's wedding.

And yes, it's the makers' fault, and we better not try to use our brains to understand them because mental health is precious.

saw some trollings and teachings on x.. so tried to google to find below items also related to Gandharva vivah..just sharing for info.smiley1

Gandharva vivah is a form of cohabitation that arises from the mutual love between a young couple, and its primary purpose can be sexual intercourse.smiley3

There were no specific rituals or traditions associated with Gandharva marriages. The couple would simply exchange vows and declare themselves to be husband and wife. However, there were some common practices that were often followed.

For example, the couple might exchange garlands or rings. They might also light a fire and recite mantras together. In some cases, the couple might also seek the blessing of a priest or spiritual elder.

Gandharva Vivah may not be recognized as a legal form of marriage, couples who choose to get married in this manner can still have their union recognized through various means such as a court affidavit or a religious ceremony.

Gandharva Vivah is mostly considered an unapproved form of marriage legally, along with Asura, Rakshasa, and Paishacha. However, some courts have ruled that Gandharva Vivah can be valid if it is performed with the proper ceremonies and rites, such as Homa and Saptapadi.

Another challenge is that Gandharva marriages can be difficult to prove legally. If the couple does not have any witnesses or documentation, it can be difficult to prove that they are legally married.

In recent years, some couples have chosen to register their Gandharva Vivah with the government to gain legal recognition and access to government benefits.

Yeah.. thats one thing I can respect quite a lot. She shows the 'commitment' I have mentioned a few times before as being more important than love / status of their relationship.

Par kyu...kya pata. smiley29

In a way live-in relationship can be considered as Gandharva vivaah too. It has some legal standing as per the current laws.

Hope VA dont have to 'prove' their marriage in court / society... that's where their 'Gandharva vivaah' will fall apart.

One of the examples that come to mind from ancient stories is Shakuntala... Dushyant does forget her after the wedding... mem loss because of a curse. And i guess shakuntala had to prove she was married... following the same thing i guess. [If so Sam (or was it Nilmi who had mentioned it?) he will again relax and Ammu will be fighting and serving him on a platter.]

Then, they could've apply it here but pehla toh ainvy ta and second (current one) witness hai hi nahin toh not valid then. Chalo phir bhi I'm ready to accept them as husband and wife
