My reaction seeing him onscreen -

My guess is if they plan to do this leap, they may just go all out for the set, which may be why we aren't getting anything related to the college track yet. Mostly the scenes may have been written, but the overall production may still be in setup mode before they start the actual shooting.

By that, my vote is with Solitude & Fortnight. These 8 days Armaan will try to manao Abhira, but pehle Abhira manegi nahi & then with her fighting on behalf of Abhir against Pfirm & Charu will finally be the thing that will push Armaan also along with the family into anti-Abhira mode, jisse court will tell them that divorce ke liye they need to wait for the 6 months colling period, jis time pe Abhira will think to join college for helping her with this case for Abhir a well as maybe her mom's koi purana case. Uske parallel main kuch din after Abhira joins, Armaan sir ko invite aayega to join college as a professor, aur woh accept bhi karega coz he would want to avoid seeing Abhira in court everyday. Lekin dono will come to college & bam pe ek dusre se takra jaayenge. Principal will introduce Abhira and tell she is their star student doing masters while Armaan is a well known lawyer who decided to turn lecturer for a few months. Dono ek dusre ko Tashan denge and will keep meeting in college with the standard tropes.

This track will end just as the 6 months period will be ending and their divorce will be getting finalised. Agar divorce final hua, then remarriage, warna divorce hi final nahi hoga and family will get them married again to bring their bahu back with all the proper rituals this time around.
