Those who actresses are either too young for him or older than him. But he has worked with most actresses around his age bracket.

Right now I feel Maya said YES to SMD only because of her friendship with Haseeb ...otherwise I dont find any reason for Maya to say yes...I dont even think she was desperate to work with Wahaj(which yumhaj shippers claim) because they hardly have scenes together.

JBG didn't get eyeballs and too bad SMD didn't give anything to neutral audiences to connect with Mahaj, but it is what it is. They have had their chance. Now just let it go. Neither should waste more projects on trying to prove something general audiences have not grown to give 2 hoots about. From a neutral perspective, Maya has had much superior pairings with Obi, Sherry, Bilal (even Hamza). Mahaj don't even come close.

I would like to see Wahaj work with actors he has not worked before like Sajal, Sara, Iqra, Kubra. I used to like Ushna before but her acting has really dipped in her recent projects so I don't know anymore. In fact, I would like to see Wahaj try other genres with more seasoned actresses. Like a thriller where Wahaj plays a serial killer being chased by a cop played by Saba Qamar. Or a Marriage Story type of drama with Sanam Saeed. Or a Kashif Nisar drama with someone like Sohai. TB2 is happening so other than that Wahaj should really give romantic hero roles a rest (it could be a subplot but not the main focus).

Barring TB 2, Wahaj’s next projects would determine how he wants his career to shape up. If it’s another mediocre commercial project then he doesn’t care about the craft anymore and just wants to earn money. Some more flops and he would move to the Zahid,Affan,Imran Abbas, etc category.

Don't actors get the same paycheck irrespective of the project? Would Wahaj have received more money for Mein vs if he did another better quality BB project like BRKRJ? SMD main 8 months lage, mehnat lagi. Agar Wahaj Radd ya AIEJ jaise better quality dramas karta toh kya un main SMD se zyada mehnat or time lgta? Kya actors social dramas ya cache scripts ke kam charge karte hin? Did Sajal charge less for ZPKB and more for Manto? doing third class flop commercial dramas is a failure of decision making but how it means more money, I don't get it.

I would like to see Wahaj pick more diverse, action-oriented or comedy scripts from the regular one-sided lover boy roles, he has done too much of these by now. Also he should work with other actresses as well. I don’t know what magical chemistry ppl see between Wahaj & Maya on screen, because I don’t feel a thing for them on screen. I may be wrong by saying that but that’s my opinion and respectfully disagree with anyone who thinks otherwise.
Wahaj has very good comic timing and it comes out naturally on screen. He emotes brilliantly in sad scenes and makes the viewers connect with him. I don’t mind him repeating his co-stars Hania or Yumna because they both are great actresses and have proven their mettle time and again. I’m done with Maya.

Hania’s outfits/makeup in KMKT were minimal and yet her scenes were on point. One would overlook her crumbled clothes, messy hair to focus just on Sharjeena. Same goes with Yumna, her performance in Pyar ke Sadqay is amazing. Wahaj has been brilliant in all his previous shows, however bad the script may be. It’s not always a bad script or poor direction, even an Actor has a crucial part to play in convincing the audience and bringing that poorly written character to life. They have to think, behave, react and ask questions why that character is behaving that way and portray it with conviction. Not just parrot what’s written in the script and assume my job is done.

It doesn’t mean more money. It means earning money by giving minimum effort. Trashy scripts are easier to get and do than the good ones .

I don’t think any actor would choose money over fame & career growth. Wahaj needs to experiment out of his comfort zone and be willing to take risks. Who knows he might have liked the script of SMD too and thought it would work in his favor, but it didn’t.

Mein was trashy and you saw minimum effort. SMD was trashy but the effort was there. It just didn't come together at all because all other ingredients were weak. It took 8 months to shoot SMD and he didn't do anything then. Even Usama in his iv said, he didn't do anything for 8 months while shooting SMD. that it was hard work. SMD is classic case of khaya piya kuch nahi glass toda baare aanay. Input itna diya par output kuch nahi nikla.

Usama actually shot for 80 days. Wahaj didn’t have to shoot for 3-4 of those 8 months. He did put on more effort for SMD in terms of performance though.
