Yes...if makers intended new love interest for J, they would have brought someone more capable to do the job...atleast to give some competition to Runak chemistry...it's unlikely AK has any other role to play except creating MU between Runak and then clearing it out..

Today's episode is the first time that they had Anirudh openly discuss the matter of separating from Arshi in his life with J. To date he has never ever done it.

The way thammi, and the evil basu's treat J is abominable. Ani's protection is limited to a few counters to their toxicity. J still has to listen to all the harsh words from them. Who will want to stay in BH like that? Why did it require so much time for Ani to realize he can choose only one? Thats what made him look like a big flip flopper to date.

Even today J said the reason for the separation cannot be me and refused to give Ani hope because if she does then the reason will be her. From day 1, J has stood steady in this regard. We may think its stupid but its her life and she decides what she wants and what she is willing to give up in return.

After a long time - I enjoyed the episode today, because they had Ani mouth what needed to be said. I feel this time around Ani will not be blinded by jealousy. He and Aditya have an equation and I hope neither will fall for the trap without thinking it through. Most likely this Bipasha stunt will make Ani more determined in marrying J. At least I hope so. Runak needs to be together before they pull the preggo stunt - else it will be ineffective. J already wants to leave. She will just pack her sooner Those who feel Arshi pregnancy will open her eyes and make her realize she cannot leave Ani are misstaken. J will never accept Ani without Arshi leaving or Arshi giving him up to die. Actually even the latter did not have her fighting for Ani.

Last hope from writers...lets see if Runak will happen. It has to. They cannot keep J in Anishit with baby story.

If I may say so…the reason Jhanak is shown to uphold the propriety stakes is cos the society as a whole expects her too.. in fact it expects women to and it’s the same society that gives men a wide berth. This isn’t about what an online audience thinks or not. without shining the lens on that aspect of societal expectations , the analysis of the characters isn’t complete. It isn’t enough to say this character is such and that character is such without contextualising it. That’s an important part of character analysis . The story wittingly or unwittingly shines light on this. To say Ani is fickle or Jhanak is clear means nothing if we don’t peel the layers. In fact much as I dislike a lot of things about the narrative, I like the layers for both Ani and Jhanak. Jhanak incidentally isn’t make a tyag ki moorat… if one looks carefully… they have made her arrogant about her haq… She thinks she is giving up her haq and that is different from a sacrifice or renunciation- renunciation means acceptance of the fact that you are happy about what you have given up. Jhanak is nowhere close to that… she is always running away from confrontation which only means the moment of reckoning is delayed. I will peel Ani’s characterisation or turn of phrase in a new post as I am bit tied up now..

That said, for context, even a writer who supposedly peddles or flirts with bigamy or some form of bigamy in regional tv is forced into semantics when her audience changes.., The message changes as per the receiver..
