I don't mind all that, the annoying part is lack of tropes

1 Bilal could have asked Sadaf to marry him for 8cr

2 Sadaf's opinion of him not changing after knowing that he is the donor is the weirdest thing because anyone who wants to make a drama will know this can be used in future to show her that she had him all wrong

Now you have a female lead, who is so stupid that she has no regards for someone who donated his bone marrow for her brother

This man can't even write tropes, what is he doing?

Many are guessing that Bilal won't tell her that he wants to marry her instead he'll ask her to accept promotion

I couldn’t enjoy episode seeing bilal smiling because of knowing heart break that comes later.

There are literally Bilal Humsha scenes who are the leads of this love story ? We have no bilsad scenes at all .

At this point, they are questioning our self respect for watching it every week, knowing we were conned by them

The tropes thing you are talking about started only after TB...

If u watch classics like

1. bin roye-leads are not in the same frame for almost 10 episodes out of 17 episodes

2.yaqeen ka safar- 29 episodes drama and leads track started after epi 17

3. Mann mayal- 33 episodes drama but leads scenes only in 10-15 episodes.

4.Jaan E Jahan- 41 episodes and leads scenes only for 20 episodes

I m not saying SMD is a classic love story but not for attracting mass audience either I feel..its just for those who like to watch old school romance..audience has evolved so much now that they can't digest this.

Yeah I would have hoped that Sadaf would feel differently knowing Bilal is the donor too

The first option would have made this a different story altogether. He is supposed to be selfless and doing things out of the goodness of his heart. This is Mirza Saab’s family too which he feels partially responsible for. Asking her to marry him in exchange for the money would make him selfish and preying on people’s vulnerabilities.

@bold this was really disappointing..they could have kept it for later so that Sadaf can see how Bilal is different from what people perceives him to be

Someone mentioned it here but I love how Bilal analyzes and tries to understand relationships. His conversation with Zaviyaar about brotherly relationships, asking Humsha if she also agrees that they are friends and his longing to be a part of a family. He loved just sitting and having dinner with them. He doesn’t fully understand relationships but he craves them.
