I also have obsession literally for ramayan Mahabharat and itihaas stories,,frm childhood I used to read more abt it,,,my entire connection for ramayan got started with Baal Ram Katha of 6 std supplementary book ncert Hindi,,its based on VR mostly,,,so got interested in VR frm there itself,,,till now today also reading & writing gives more pleasure than tv series...I got into ramayan so much in book that I never felt like intrigued enough to watch TV Ramayans,,dusre historical shows ache lagte the,,, ghar par papa ne dekhi hai tv ki ramayan based most Series,,,, till lockdown mein rs rerun came,,There i first time watched tv Ramayan,,it was good,,,then this SR in beginning intrigued me,,so started watching but again this got distorted too much,,good thing I came to know abt ndtv ramayan frm here,,that's good,,,

baki books r always best,,,, i got chance to read VR , Manas,Kamban etc....VR abhi bhi padh rahi hu on and off fir se(pehle padh chuki hu 3 times still),,,ami ganatra ki ramayan unraveled is also very good,, finished recently,,,, recommended book for ramayan if someone finds VR exhausting,,,it's around 270 pages only,,but still covered essence of VR so nicely.... clearing many misconceptions...

I also write abt many characters of ramayan but in my diary,,their traits and different learnings which can be imbibed frm them,, relevant learnings for today's time etc....

That's why now it seems grimm brothers ki fairy tales lagti hai

I always loved them

I feel whatever drag fest happened of UK in SR,,,but one thing which they hit correctly in UK in SR is they tried clearing misunderstandings around ShriRam...by showing his inner turmoil deeply,,,

what I deciphered in last few years,,,,there r 5 main parts frm UK where PPL judge ShriRam or Shri Ram's character feels inconsistent frm remaining 6 kaands of ramayan,,,

1) and 2) Sita parityag part (also agnipravesham frm Yuddhkand)is misunderstood frm ShriRam's side

3) Shambhuk vadh

4) Sita ma shapath grahan where she is asked again to prove her chastity and bhumipravesh

5) Lakshman parityag Kaal meeting Rish Durvasa track (here few PPL again mistook Shri Ram's dilemma and judge him in role of Brother for king),,,Many says ShriRam gave mrityudand to only 2 ,,Shambuk and his faithful brother lakshman,,He was very harsh on kaushalya,,Sita and lakshmana,,why?? Coz vanvaas accept time he didn't think for Kaushalya,,then Sita ma ko praja ke liye tyaga without her fault,,then lakshman ji ko mrityu dand yaa parityag for upholding his promise despite he broke into the meeting for protecting ayodhya frm sage Durvasa's rage,,aise superficial understandings prevalent hai for these events among masses...

I feel SR dealt with Agnipariksha and Sita parityag decently overall,,,clearing Shri Ram's part too...baki Sita ma ka to sabko sacrifice samaj aata hi hai,,Ramji ko misunderstand karte hai,,woh clear Kiya,,

Shambuk wala southern version mein 1 story hai jo VR se totally different hai,,that's shambukumar son of shurpi wala,,waha shurpi ke son ka naam shambuk hai,,woh story bilkul alag hai,,waha proper reason hai why he got killed and there he got killed by Lakshmanji....usi story ko thoda change karke yaha dikha diya,,to Shambuk vadh part sorted...

Ab if they show Sita bhumi pravesh and lakshman parityag with perspective frm both sides(as in Sita and Lakshman ka sacrifice is understood nicely in these 2 events respectively,, ShriRam ke side se yeh parts tough hai samajna),,,dono stories mein dono characters ke parts ko acche se in-depth insightful way se likhkar dikha dete hai,,, Shri Ram ke side ko thoda in-depth ssamjaate hue that what was his situation and stand in these 2 events and why??? ,,,,to actually saare misinterpreted parts for ShriRam in UK will be taken nicely by SR aisa ho jaaega,,,aur kuch nahi to ek kaam acha kiya hai woh complete karlo,,,that's why I want these 2 tracks to be covered in SHRIMAD RAMAYAN in insightful manner..

actually tv makers avoid few things from valmiki ramayan

ram words to sita during agni pariksha

sita words to lakshman during golden deer incident

kaushalya anger towards kaikeyi

i feel valmiki portrayed the inner turmoils of the characters like a normal human being

other versions showed their divine aspect
