You know in real life too their are sister like ruhi. My masi behavior is similar as ruhi. She always blame and compete with my mom like papa mujhe bhi aise hi saree chaiye, aapne usne (my mom) aise Diya mujhe bhi chaiye. I also got to know from Nani that when she got married she even told Nani and nanaji that aapne uske (my mom) ke liye toh itna sundar ladka dhunda (my father is fair in colour and in old time fair color means Sundar while her husband is dark color). When she had kids she always exchanged new clothes with my mom even though both goes shopping together like yeh toh Meri beti bete pe accha lagega tu mujhe apne de de and apne baccho ko yeh de de. My mom being like abhira behenchara Mei sb de deti thi. She is also loved by all in my Nani nanaji family cause she doesn't speak much while my mom being outspoken is not liked. Over years she even blamed my mom for not helping in her marriage too and now is completely spoke venom against her. She strained my mom relationship with her dad now and both are not even on talking terms while she regularly talks to him on phone and says voh toh aisi hi and all. So yeah I don't know if I'm born into a rare family but ruhi like character do exist in real world.

Also ruhi as a character could get a redemption arc but in real life I don't think koi redemption is possible. My mom is near 60 and both has like 1-2 yr gap so even after so many years my masi has not improved a biteven though my mom loves her little sis but I'm sure their relation will remain same now

I agree that Rishta ke bahut saare characters real life main hain. While I never encountered a Ruhi, mere ghar main I do have a Kaveri, Vidya & Rohit type characters. Bas curse nahi karte, lekin mindset aur relations waise hi hai. Ek time pe itna pyaar karte hai that you feel like the most special insaan while other time pe itna ganda kuch bol denge to make you feel like everything bad that happens is your fault.

You learn to live with them & maneuver your life accordingly. That is why when people take out morchas it makes me laugh coz real life main like you said, koi redemption nahi milta. Jis din galti se ek sorry bhi agar naseeb ho, toh dhanya hai

So true I also have character similar to kaveri, Rohit beside ruhi in my familyyeah we have to adjust ourselves to live with them. They don't even realize their mistakes and thinks they correct in everything like bhagwan ho Kya galti ni kr skte but nope too much ego to even accept their fault. Sorry toh I don't even expect cause galti hi realize ni hoti logo ko sorry toh Kya hi bolenge
