Part-3

Aarti's POV

I reached there by 3:45 p.m then after some time a man wearing a blue and black perfectly ironed suit came forward.

"Heyy..!! I'm Rahul..”, he said

I stared at him for sometime

"Heyyy...!! Are you here..??!!", he said waving his hands in front of me.

"T.... uh... Who are you actually...??!! I can't recognize you..”, I said

"You don't know me..??!! I'm Rahul with whom your marriage is fixed... Remember..??!!", he said I was shocked. What is happening..?!!

I showed him a picture of Rahul (whom I know) to the Rahul standing in front of me.

"This is Rahul actually...", I said

"Oh my God..!! That's not me... He might be lying with you by using my name...", he said

"This is your number, right...??!!", I said showing him the phone number.

"No.. The last digit is 7 not 1... Maybe you wrote it wrong... That's why you met with him...”, he said

Slowly it drowned to me what had actually happened between us...

Our first talk on call, first meeting everything till now came in front of my eyes...

Then I saw him coming in, the Rahul I knew and started loving.

He stood in front of me and looked in my eyes for sometime there was something else in his eyes... Guilt... ??!!

"Aarti, I want to say something... If I don't say it today I won't be able to say it ever...", he said

"Wait.. I want you to meet someone..", I said gesturing him to stop

"See, this is the real Rahul whom I'm supposed to marry...", I said

I saw fear in his eyes

"So you know everything now but I want to explain...", he said

"But I don't want to hear anything... You were playing with my feelings for God's sake.....", I said with anger and pain.

"Please don't say like this... My real name is Yash... And I know I was cheating you in some way but believe me I...." he stopped in mid sentence when Rahul punched him across his face.

“Heyyyy...!!!", I screamed and put my hands on my mouth.

No matter what happens but I can never see him in pain.

“Come Aarti... Let's go....", said Rahul holding my hand Then he took me out of there.

Yash's POV

I lost her... I lost her forever...

I deserve this because I was so selfish that I didn't even think what she'll feel when she gets to know the truth

God, please show me a way to get her back... I can't live without her....

Aarti's POV

Days passed and today is the day of Engagement and to be honest I love Yash but I'll never be able to forgive what he had done to me.

Rahul is way opposite from me at times I remember how perfectly Yash's and my likes and dislikes perfectly matched but my Mom didn't decide Yash for me.

I was in my room. I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't notice any sound but when I slightly turned my head to the right I saw Yash entering from my room's window.

"Please don't react.... I have to ask you this question..", he said

I was too shocked to react but I wanted to hug him but my mind didn't allow.

"Do you love me or the name Rahul..??!! And I know you're not happy with this relation...", he said

"Who are you to decide whether I'm happy with this relation or not..??! Please leave from here, Yash...", I said without looking at him.

"Aarti, don't you remember our moments together..??!! How we used to spend our time... I can't live without you, Aarti..!!! Please forgive me..!! I was not brave enough to tell you the truth... I was scared that if I tell you the truth then you would leave me and I didn't want that to happen...", he said tears flowing from his eyes.

“You knew that I hate lies still you did this to me...", I said myself crying too.

"And I also hate liars but I had no other Option..I was scared.... scared to lose you", he said.

"T...", I couldn't complete because my Mom called me from downstairs.

It was time for the engagement

"I have to go.. Everyone is waiting for me..", I said turning around.

He held my hand suddenly

"Don't go... Please... Will you be able to live without me because I won't be..... I'll die Aarti...", he said.

I could feel my tears flowing down mercilessly.

I couldn't control myself... I gave up...

I ran to him and hugged him tightly with my tears soaking in his shirt. I could feel that he was shocked but then hugged back too.

"I know, Aarti that I'm not successful like him or handsome like him or....", he said but I kept my hand on his mouth.

"You are the most handsome person I have ever seen....you are different from him... Everyone is different from others and I have loved you for who you what you said is true I loved you but not the name. And I won't be able to change that suddenly”, I said

"I know I told you lie but My love for you is true....I love you, Aarti and I will always do", he said looking into my eyes

"I love you too, Yash", I said

We hugged again.I rested my head on his chest.

When he is with me I don't care about the consequences ahead of me.....

I didn't get why, in all your AarYa stories I have read, either Aarti or Yash conceal their identity at first, and reveal that later, causing a heartbreak already...anyways, this one is so cute..
