Ani ki suffering se hi toh chalta hai yeh show....lol they always have to keep him trapped in some circumstances to divert attention from Jhanak's contribution to pushing him off a cliff each time. Jitna relentless mental torture is being done on Ani since the tumor track, koi bhi toot jaayega.

Nahi chalega show jyada din.. people want Runak...they give us Runak lollipop for some time and again go back to filthy drama... viewers will eventually understand the pattern and leave the show..

Woh promo ek lollipop hai aur kuchh nahi...J is Nutan now and wants to take revenge for Urvashi's death... Anirudh doesn't hold any place in her revenge act...to kyu hi mangegi uska saath...even she wants him to lead a happy life with Arshi...so she asking for his saath is implausible..

Burning track mein bhi Ani ka sudden flip to believing Jhanak could burn Arshi looked very out of place and weird....tab bhi he was shown believing this simply cuz Srishti said it.....lol and tab bhi we all thought how out of place and unbelievable it looked but Leena pressed on with it.

Right now also kuch aisa hi half-baked dikhaane ka try kar rahe hain that everyone has been pressurizing him since so many days to move on and go back to Arshi toh finally the mental pressure has broken him and he's given in.....Yes it's weird ki just a day back he was vowing to get justice for Jhanak and ek hi din mein flip kar gaya to ok Arshi jo tum bolo....but sadly it wouldn't be the first time Leena has messed with Ani ka character, isliye people aren't holding out much hopes for some secret twist

Still I will root for you to turn out right on this.....no one wants to see Ani being degraded to this level after how far he's come.....

@bold: I just watched those Aag epis a few days back again and one thing I want to say is Ani just had a thought that MAYBE srishti was right about Jhanak but rejected it immediately saying mujhe aisa soch ke bhi bura lag raha he...

And then he also said mene nehi dekha tha, srishti dekhi thi, tum janti ho na sach kya he to lado aur is issue ka saamna karo...

That's clearly being NEUTRAL isn't it?

What he did do is he stayed NEUTRAL during that track, he didn't support her and he didn't go against her. He just wanted to get justice to Arshi... That's all...

That can be justified by Ani-jhanak journey till then.

The way I understood it, he's an all in or all out kind of guy, especially when he realised he had feelings for her... She rejected him, that too brutally, and he got hurt and chose to forget her and his feelings completely and focus on his future/commitments namely Arshi trying to convince himself he LOVES her but failing badly.

The Reason he even tried to convince himself he loved Arshi is because he had feelings for her at some point in his life....

During Aag track, there was a lot of buildup/justification to show his actions...

But now if he really flipped, thats COMPLETE CHARACTER DEGRADATION with no explanation and logic.... He's simply not Aniruddh anymore...

That's the reason why I think this is a plan of his...

Or in the worst case a scenario like before HA where after confessing he loves Jhanak in Mumbai he came back and asked Arshi to stay... Even this is very disgusting writing but still...

Why? Because the HA thing is planned, so they made him stall for the grand drama....

If it’s a plan… it would be something very unlike Ani… or a thing he adopts due to some trigger but what’s that trigger? He just went over to BBG place, met Nuton ate paratha apparently which we aren’t privy to… 😂😂 so this flip is out of character and is so unAni like despite Ani’s conflicted status of the past; Ani has been shown as clearly taking a position after the HA so this flip is inexplicable.

To say main kamzor pad jata hoon? Who is writing the dialogues even? It is always pathetic when they lay the new track… total cr*p!!

When he came back from Mumbai after J’s operation, he was listless and he couldn’t find the words to confess to Arshi and that to my mind was in character with Ani who is basically a soft hearted person… he isn’t savage mode intrinsically… so I didn’t think it odd for him to capitulate when he was being bombarded from all sides.
But post HA, his demeanour was different as if he had found deep clarity and refused being taken for a fool by Arshi so this flip can’t be compared to the older one.

I don't want this flip flopping with Anirudh's character...there was no need to make him utter those requests to Arshi atp...evil BH and Srishti are enough to force Arshi on Anirudh... this is simply done to generate SM buzz again... today's episode was not smooth editing wise ..clearly the Srishti Arshi convo should have happened first, then the Anishit convo...I guess makers have shot these in a hurry...and they are changing some aspects to counter trp drop of last week..

...but whatever may be the reason...it's sad that atp makers are still Portraying Anirudh like this..

@bold: That's the thing I'm thinking about... Maybe BBG told him something or he heard something... Because in today's epi even Srishti knows that noutan is jhanak so... Some unexpected twist is coming maybe...

As for planning being out of character for Ani when correct motivation is there he's not beyond planning and manipulating like after his bike accident... All the people plotted against him and he plotted his own to keep Jhanak there...

Because, if he can do it in this stage after getting so much clarity, they can make him flip anytime and I'll always be afraid he's going to flip...

FFed todays episode..

Ani seemed complete lost mentally that he asked Arshi to stay back. He seemed completely checked out. (Definitely felt that Krushal is unenthusiastic from the way the track/story is being executed). Idk how this baby trap track will transpire but, as a viewer, kinda felt taxing to watch the episode for now.

Arshit-Shristi scenes took up 66% of the episode with baby trap track. Jhanak-daddy scenes repeating the same lines from yesterday. Vinayak-Shristi scenes🥱 .

@bold: You're just talking about the initial scene where he had the convo with Jhanak in his room.....at that time, yes he was claiming to have a neutral stance and asking Jhanak to fight for her truth if she is innocent......but quickly after that they DID show him suspecting Jhanak and the way he went to the police station to DEMAND punishment even if the culprit is Jhanak....he didn't bother doing anything to get Jhanak released. Minu did the leg work of finding the video evidence to exonerate Jhanak and only THEN they showed Ani turning to look at Jhanak with a monologue in his head apologizing for doubting her.

So it was very clear that he didn't have a neutral stance and did indeed doubt her. No matter how much justice he wanted for Arshi, the fact that they showed him thinking Jhanak was capable of doing something like that simply over Srishti's claims and the police arresting her....that was not justifiable in my eyes and remains the start of the writing downfall in the show.

Now coming to the present situation.....yes, it will be even more unjustifiable cuz in the burning track he was still shown confused about his feelings, had a level of uncertainty about Jhanak's feelings for him as well.....so in that situation going back to Arshi we can get. But to now flip him after showing him getting clarity and announcing his clarity so openly will be a bigger blow.

That said, I used the burning track example cuz I can see the similar pattern. As sanfan also noted, they weaken Ani whenever they want to lay the basis for a new track. They did that in burning track also to suddenly show him doubting Jhanak so that they could justify Jhanak leaving for Mumbai. So they can do the same now also to show Ani falling weak after being beaten down from all sides and trying to hold on to Arshi for some reason again.

Ofcourse it's super bizarre that he is looking for companionship from the same person who abandoned him to die and he couldn't even tolerate being in her presence since so many days....now suddenly cuz he's feeling hopeless about Jhanak, he will BEG for Arshi's company? lol yeah it's very bizarre...but is it out of Leena's realm to show this? Not really....she doesn't care about maintaining Ani's integrity.....she will do anything to lay out a track where Arshi gets to bray about her POV.
