If you want to upload a pic from a link through your phone, open the image on a new tab and then copy the link. The copied link should have a .jpg extension. Then post the link here on the external image under image icon.

I pasted the above link under external link. Wait for 6-7 seconds for the image to show up.

here's an example from imgur. this is the pop up menu i get when i press and hold the image for like a second or two

the image opens in a new tab like this when i click open image in new tab and then i copy paste this link ending in jpg here into the external link url box

Copy the URL, don't long press.
