I didn't like gen 3. Gen 4 beat it. Lead characters are so unlikable. There is hardly any instance where both leads act sane at same time. They take turns in being intolerable.

For the first 8 months ml is pendulum who had emotional affair with his brother's wife, then he realised his infamous love which started their official cringe era. Their lovey dovey scenes till marriage was laughworthy. No offense but ropu actor can't do lovey dovey scenes. His age is visible so it comes across so cringe. He is good at intense and emotional scenes. I thought atleast in sad scenes, there will be no cringe . But they are serving jhula, cupboard, green chilli scenes.
