Not actually. But I had watched it in childhood so have a nostalgic connection and obviously Karan Nandani- Hiten Gauri...
I had always remembered it was Mahaan Tulsi maiyya story. But yesterday when I saw/ rewatched it was really an understanding how much of a human Tulsi was at least in. Case of Karan.
She disliked Karan as he was the illegitimate son of her husband. Even despite Karan always respecting her, she remained cold. Then on the explanation of family she agreed to get him home, but even then she was doing it more out of pity, when she saw everyone happy at this decision, she got happy at it but even then as a step mother. When he came home, she started pampering him but still as you would do to.an outsider in your house(being over sweet), then he convinced her to not treat him differently.
Later although she knew he was good, yet the moment she was told of Karan Nandani- relation she immediately accounted him calling that he was still Mandira's son. Showing that while she thought she had accepted him, she still had that thought in her mind that being someone else's child he can never be more trust worthy than her sons
It was only when she saw her own son r**ing his wife and Karan standing with her in every aspect, she forgot everything over him. Post that the relation of Karan and Tulsi had become unbreakable. Nothing and no one could convince them against each other..
That was a full circle.. They never rushed this relationship like Tulsi starts loving Karan as her son the moment family accepts. They took baby steps
