I think he will think ruhi is ditching after hearing their half conversation where as she is not. This will make him take drastic steps and he will end his life as he will have no one to trust as he has lost trust in both his wife and his brother.

This will be final nail on coffin for ruhi as she will loose the last person she ever loved in her life because abhimaan could not tell the truth before and they chose the time when ruhi is carrying the child of rohith.
