I think it's a joint trap pakka.. even the whole cabin thing.. it appears from the precap Armaan had a hand in KP giving Manoj the cabin or atleast that's what chachi's dialogue seems to suggest, then why did she make Abhira sit there if not to create a divide in some relationship of hers..

Perhaps she has realised that she can't control Arman if Abhira is there...the only way to get complete control back, is to get rid of Abhira.

Exactly for now Abhira is the thread that is binding Armaan to the family again going back to yesterdays expressions she was ok with Abhira leaving but asked them to shift to OH when Armaan decided to leave....probably she thought in these 3 months seeing the effect Vidya had on Armaan, he would not leave the house and stay back but when he also offered to leave she got alert....now there are many supporting Abhira mannu meenu, cousins, PMJ, and mainly armaan.. it's pretty easy for her to make Rohit turn against Abhira. She already started with mannu meenu and end move will be armaan vs abhira, Abhira maybe so carried away with the work that she will fail to realize how relations are going away from her, Kaveri used the perfect points to get Abhira working one her mother's dream and another baby and firm analogy.... she had never accepted Abhira nor will she now....she is playing a game which will result in separation and leap.

See I want to think Kaveri's behavior is a part of a bigger plan cause that will make her character fun..... But then I also almost sure that the writers have barely a clue about character arcs to shape beyond like a week or so.

She said those same words to Vidya just a tad earlier didn't she? That Armaan's control is in Abhira and if Armaan is needed then have to keep her close too or some such??

One thing is clear from the recent episodes that for Dadisa the firm is everything, more than her family. The fact that she gives no importance to her son, who is a lawyer and gives more importance to Sanjay because supposedly he is more competent, shows how much she values the firm.

I am not surprised at all that she has given Arman the cases back once she realised that Rohit is useless. Now that she has realised how competent Abhira is, Abhira has suddenly become an asset - otherwise, she wouldn't give two hoots about her (unless it's her plan to get rid of Abhira and cause misunderstanding between the family members so that Abhira can be all alone).

But I agree, Romit's role is futile in the show.

The luxurious life their family is currently living, the relevance of Poddar name, all is there because of the firm. Firm's success means family's success and happiness.

Sanjay might be taking care of the firm for 20+ years so offcourse Dadi will give him upper hand.

Now after seeing one P family member i.e. Ar is also worthy and his lawyer wife comes as bonus too she now wants them to stay here here at any cost.

When her own son is incompetent and her favourite pota too that's why she turned first towards outsider Sanjay and now so called sautela Armaan and unlikable i.e. Abhira.

Like I said it's fair to be skeptical and so am I to a large extent but I don't think Anita Raaj is playing KP to just go with the flow.. all the water filling the jug etc type theatrics and her scenes with Vidya, Phuphu in the recent past where she clearly states what Armaan means to the household and how his hold is with Abhira etc make me want to think she isn't just being a pancake.. there's more there for sure..
