He's probably had SO much of Vidya's OTT and crappy acting that he borrowed some to get high on the same stuff Pancake and Ruhi are high on

But somehow it feels that the writers are firstly thinking of parallels and adjusting the story around them, instead of focusing on the plot and then thinking about incorporating the parallels,
