BTW the kitchen convo, Salar was totally oblivious to Sitara faking it all. From her you can do anything ( which was actually a taunt) to I trust you more than myself. I guess that's what they wanted to show, that Salar is just too taken in with her, but she doesn't mean it. Credit to laiba for performing it just correctly.

I was actually happy the show didn’t spend time on sofa and bed games. To me consent should be enough of a barrier. Sleep on the same bed but don’t consummate until both are consenting.

I hardly ever got a vibe from Salar that he is testing his boundaries as far as physical touch goes. I think he is/was hopeful that she will realize his true love and was willing to wait months. And for this reason he sounded especially pained when she accused him this last episode.

So if they go Tere bin route (explicit rape which was later covered up due to audience uproar) or the route of dubious consent, I will need therapy 😭😭 at least in TB when you look back there were about 2-3 times when Murtasim threatens Meerab which the audience overlooked. Once he says to not awaken his Andar ka jaanwar. Another time he says yahi qayamat kar doonga. So in retrospect he was a questionable man. Salar has not done any such thing so far. Salar was always a bit handsy like when he drags her to show Qasim leaving although once I did not like it when he held her face with one hand before marriage in a restaurant

I also think the show isn't focusing on consummation or lack of it in this drama and I for one am glad. Salar hasn't shown any desperation and he's waiting more for Sitara's realisation of his love for her before taking the next logical step.

Sitara saying he's taking advantage of her masloomiyat was in accordance with all the nonsense she has been sprouting and she even knows that's not the case, coz when salar asks her how he has taken faida she changes it to tumhara faida na hua ho, Mera nuksaan zaroor hua hai. 🙄

As per Salar's character i seriously doubt they'll go for a forced consummation track.

Isn't it strange ki Junaid ko picture se hi nikal dia writer ne iss MU ke maha plot m ... Pehle toh salar used to share everything with Junaid .. what has happened ?

infact the only person who can give salar a fair advise since he also came from a low background and can understand Sitara's situation ...

i would love to see atleast one conversation of sitara having with Junaid ... he can calm her mind ... he is very good with words

Nani's charcater was so confusing. I mean she was not practical at all. She should have handled things practically and sensibly. Not only salar and sitara's character, bit also his relationship with his parents. She could have made his parents also understand Salar's pov rather than being idealistic and ending her relationship with her daughter. Rather than bridging the gap she created more. When she knew her daughter was wrong, she shoild have talked to tahir who she herself said was sensible enough to understand.

That's true. I mean having healthy relationships is more important than having such ideals that make you judgemental.

Mehreen has her flaws and she has been wrong, but she's not evil and she has her good side too.

Tahir ka bhi samajh nahi aata. His role has mostly been to ensure situations don't accelerate, especially between Salar and his mom and to say salar not to worry, that he's there and will take care of everything, instead of pulling salar up for his actions.

having different opinions doesn't seems like a strong reason to hate ... atleast his parents do love him ... i am not able to relate with salar ki dukh dard peeda ..
