Honestly, while Nimmi deserves her own karma, this was not what I had in mind because this is domestic abuse. I am pretty sure Qasim is going to "accuse" Nimmi of being characterless and unchaste and is going to publicly broadcast that and then divorce her. Unfortunately for her, after that she will be known as a divorcee who got divorced because she was unfaithful. Honestly, her options for a second marriage are already pretty bleak if this track is anything to go by.

So true. I mean, when a show like Bridgerton tries to deal with the concept of female chastity and honour and the perception of premarital purity and everything and try to romanticise indiscretions, you can really make out that their society has become so distanced from that concept that they think that indiscretion is romantic. It is unfortunately not. Honestly, I am glad that India, especially metros and urban India, are slowly moving away from these concepts, although I really think some people are going overboard and falling down into the other side of this extremity like hook up culture and such.

This. So true. The only person who should punish Nimi is Sitara. Otherwise leave things to God. What Qasim is doing is to satisfy his own rage. He knows deep down that had he not left for the job that day, Sitara would have been his wife. Now he is punishing the perpetrator but he does not have the moral right or the authority to do so.

Nimmi is truly evil ...Sitara ki shadi , walima aur agr usko ab bhi chance mile uski zindagi mein zehr gholne ka to surely she will do that. Qasim is giving punishment to himself too. Of course his method is not justify , domestic abuse is wrong . But I think till end after all this suffereing she will realize her mistake & Qasim and Nimmi will make peace together, aesa mujhe lg rha hai. Because Qasim mother is also a good woman, when she come to know..she ll tk side of nimmi.
