The extended empire of Ravana was beyond Lanka, he had won parts of India too (not sure if Tamil Nadu was a part of that)

There are few who say Lanka wasn't Srilanka, but Srilanka and their government claim that they are from same Lanka, and it makes sense too, because from Kishkindha they moved further south and crossed a water body to reach Lanka. Unless there was a huge land mass that got drowned (no evidence that there was), Srilanka is the correct place

Sure, kartik's certain insecurities are understandable as yuvika was giving more priority to her investigation and with Neil liking yuvika, things are more turned heated up for him. Kartik was a normal middle class boy, why would he want to involve in mahajan's mess. What wrong was the way he behaved in his insecurities. He literally yelled and manhandled her. Yuvika did bear all that and agreed to get married to him and said this to bhoomi "it's her constant absence that's making him insecure" (forgot the dialogue actually). But it's when kartik goes behind her back and leak all her investigation to dj, that's when yuvika decided to break up with him. Whatever it is, her father's investigation is something she never compromised, and karti disturb that only.

I don't know who is more red flag out of two as i found kartik and yuvika both equally at fault. Also, they were no more into cocoon of rishikesh. In Delhi there relationship was tested, and they failed (i mentioned this in initial EDT also). They will anyway would not survive amid the conspiracy and stress of Mahajans.

But all said and done, kartik dodged a bullet in the long run. And Yash got the girl at the end. But you know who lost everything- It's Neil Bhardwaj

With Yash, Yuvika's relation was more like at equals. Yes Yash helped her but that was all due to Neil's heart. But in senses both reciprocated each other.

About Kartik, while his last few days were pathetic and inexcusable, but before that his sense of insecurities were normal. Yuvika missed his calls, asked him to not reveal himself to her family.

When he had broken up it was more because he heard Bhumi saying that Yuvika will have sacrifice something. He did support her, but Yuvika always confided Neil more, so he slowly got drifted away
