Exactly - that will be the trigger he needs to actually come out of his pity party and see just how awful it is for Abhira. Right now he is way to consumed in his sadness of first being a bad son, and after Kaveri showed, being a bad professional. Once he sees Abhira actually grappling through the consequences of his actions to get married to her and get her in his family after knowing about her condition - that will snap him out to realise just how ignorant he has been of her pain.

to be fair, the same family was busy partying and dancing a couple of days after their asli beta rohit disappeared into the thin air. So unko bas naach gaaney se matlab hain, everything else can go to hell

I understand. We know that daily soaps like this tend to have very large arcs for maximising drama. There they often choose to let go of smaller nuances that we assumed an audience would want, but would not serve any purpose in the long run.

The best example was the BTS I remember seeing when the deal shaadi was revealed to the family. There was a scene where Armaan explained to his family of how much Abhira meant to him and what she had done for the family. That scene was written & enacted, but was edited out as it hampered the creatives choice to make Armaan oblivious of Abhira's contribution to his family when asking for the divorce.

So yes, while we notice & call out a lot of these small nuances, like Rohitrocks mentioned, it very well can be a creative choice to have him make that connect & realisation with a different trigger than just watching that video today

See I would have accepted this explanation if this scene didn't take place right after Kaveri show's him the video of him screaming unfairly at a subordinate AND Abhira. So regardless of the reasons, it does not sit well with me.

Itv is at a stage where viewers praise mls for doing bare minimum or wait for them to do bare minimum. Tomorrow armaan will realise his "mistake" and say sorry. Everyone will praise him and celebrate him. All with at what cost? Making fl go through so much for 3 months for no fault of hers. It is the state of current ITV generally.
