then she’ll be called disrespectful..so as long as she’s married to Armaan she’ll show respect to vidya..as Armaan regards vidya as his mom. And when abhira does eventually tell vidya off..they’ll make her do it in a polite way..that’s what separates the itv heroines from the vamps.. We know vidya is a nasty woman..we saw today how she differentiates between her biological son and Armaan. But they will continue showing Armaan and abhira respect herOriginally posted by: Observer007
Why do makers/writers often portray the female lead as overly saintly towards the bad or evil characters? Why can't she show her good side to good people and stand up for herself against those who are wrong? It would be great if Abhira confronted Vidya when she badmouths her, saying something like, 'You're not even my real mother-in-law, so why should I listen to you?' After all, Vidya herself said during her awful welcome speech, 'Now I'll show you what it means to be a stepmother.' DKP usually portrays step relationships positively, but this time, no one deserves a mother like Vidya, whether real or step. She can't call herself a woman. Mere armaan armaan hi reh jayenge...
