Well I find bhumi more funny than hemani lol at times hemani used to look serving forced comedy but bhumi's crying scenes were horribly funny especially the yukti track

Actually.....comedy is difficult to write as well as nowadays people get offend over very silly jokes....

Exactly...comedy is harder to crack aur yaha aajkal ITV cvs basic emotions and storytelling nai bata paate. To pata nai comedy kitna achieve kar paayenge.

Also, as you said people are ready to offend in silliest of things. What worked 10 years ago may not work in today's times.
