Most of the legacy viewers stopped watching last year too resultantly TRP dropped to 1.6 & it didn't surpass 2 for months (from last week of Aug to 3rd week of Nov)

Infact TRP was lowest even post-leap with introduction of new characters, it was 1.4 for first week of S4 but then within weeks, with progression in storyline of S4 leads it jumped to 2.3-2.4 so alongwith most of the retained legacy viewers, though many viewers stopped watching too but few new viewers found S4 refreshing and started watching it.

As viewers were least interested therefore TRP didn't increase from 1.6-2.0 for three months (Sep-Nov) last year, but post-leap (S4) TRP increased from 1.4 to 2.0 within 2-3 weeks & then to 2.3-2.4 within another 2-3 weeks it was a huge achievement in my opinion as viewers interest was regained.

Because of CVs great creativity TRP was 1.6-2.0 throughout fourth quarter of the year 2023 (Sep-Nov) minus December 2023. This time CVs have to do something huge to piss off viewers of S4 to get back their consistent 1.6 & 1.7 like last year.
