I don't understand why they gave that scene with Vidya and Abhira. Shaadi toh phir bhi ho hi rahi hai na? Uska kya matlab tha phir. Vidya na khush hogi shaadi se zyada se zyada then Ruhi ka expose hoga then what Will be her reaction?

Exactly - they need her to apologise to Abhira after the Ruhi kaand so they sent her there to pressurise Abhira, so that they can show Abhira's kashmakash as well as have Vidya profusely apologise for "misunderstanding" her and saying such bad things
