5) But there is a doubt if Mg will allow it.

If it was an arrange marriage we can understand for bringing this track .Not only in ghum,in yhm too Ishita's lover cancelled their marriage when she suddenly got ill and this infertility news come.After that no one was ready to marry her.Then Ishita and raman married for Ruhi.Here in rishta,nothing is going like that.Even rishta had a history of leads separation during first pregnancy , Everyone of them stood with their wives,during that difficult of being pregnant phase.there is no purpose of it when there is no change of partner for Female lead.Here Armaan still stood with Abhira, prioritising her, marriage is going to happen anyhow then why this drama now?

In gen 2, Kartik did not want to be a dad for a while and kept putting it away but eventually when Naira was pregnant (case of accidental pregnancy), he took a while to process and became happy later on.
